Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.

Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

They are explaining their no room challenge:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlugfTn7...

so the obvious question is where do they relieve themselves and take a shower

(I could only handle about 2 minutes of this trash)

by Langdon k

yeah I feel bad about ragging on guys (which unfortunately I do a lot on here) but saying "super nit raises UTG, I should fold QT but don't..."
he's a fish who flopped miracle trips

Not only did he flop miracle trips, he didn't get stacks in by the river. So what's the point on trying to flop big vs a nitty dude and not stack him when you do?

With the unlimited snow in the woods, they can boil the snow to get semi warm bath water. Then they can dig a hole and set up an septic system or bucket from Home Depot and put a toilet seat on the bucket after filling it with leaves and compost soil.

Pman is such a happy and lovable nerd. It's hard not to root for him. But how do you not get the full double with the trip tens? The thought process is concerning. Players get kicked out of stables for butchering hands that bad.

Pman’s journey to becoming a poker pro is like a Twilight Zone episode at this point. “Imagine if you will, a man that desperately wants to be a successful gambler, lucky for him he has a little magic box that tells him the perfect play almost every time. Unlucky for him he almost never does what the box says. Look on with me into the life of this lovable loser and ask yourself what would you do if you had all the right answers on a test but kept circling the wrong letter, here in the Twilight zone.”

In today's Diesel video he goes in deep on explaining how comps work. lol

Here is a 6-day sample of his play, looks like a pretty small standard deviation with those small wins and losses.

$13.24/hr. on 37.85 hours.

Pmans thought process is just all over the place. Its hard to believe this is a guy living in Vegas, and dearly wants to become a professional pokerplayer for several years hasnt come alot further along the journey.

He says one thing, then he hits himself in the head with it the next thing he says.

Q10s is a snapcall in position against a nit that basically minraises, and we get to play in position against a faceup range against a player that also often is gonna play honest poker on every street.

And yeah, not stacking AK when you get the absolute dreamflop+dream runout is just unforgiveable and is lightening your winrate on fire.

Why does he list a 2 minute session where he didn't play a hand

The small wins and losses Rice has is incredible.
Rice has gotta be the tightest nit in Las Vegas.

It is a complete disgrace.... he must be playing around 5% of hands....a dead seat....a leech on the game..... should actually be banned

by parisron k

In today's Diesel
$13.24/hr. on 37.85 hours.

If you don't count the promo freeroll money Rice won and the two promo hours he played, Rice's hourly $ for about 35 hours of poker play is about $9.50/hr, which is still running above what I think his non promo win rate is, over the long haul.
Small 6 day sample size.
My guess is Rice's $ hourly, not counting promo money won, is around $7/hr over the long haul.
That $7/hr win rate puts Rice in the top 15% of $1/2 poker players over the long haul is my guess.
Lots of speculation on my part.

What. A. Rock.

Thankfully rocks don’t have feelings or they’d be upset at the comparison.

how does he not get bored playing like that? Pretty remarkable that he can do that day in and day out and not get bored.

He will always cap his win rate but it seems like he found a system that works for him.

Autists loves rigid structure and numbers, he has found his calling in life.

99% of poker players have additional sources of income well over the low bar of minimum wage, which is twice that

It's actually incredible he's the only guy who deducts bathroom breaks to the second. Meanwhile time spent casino hopping 4-5 times a night aren't working hours.

I actually saw someone last night take out a post it note and write 10:57 on it which was the time when he sat down. Just make your life easy and round off to 11 it's not that important.

I have a plo version of him in my player pool. He thinks he's some poker savant when he probably makes 4 dollars an hour. He's just poison for the game complaining about how he "runs bad" etc . as though anyone cares. He'll also make sure the dealer "squares up" the table even when the game is 6 or 7 handed and everyone has plenty of room. "Dealer everyone should be in front of the cup holders". Torture.

The other day he finally raised for the first time in about 4 hours after 4 people limped. Everyone folded which never happens in plo. He shows AAQJ double suited and says "wow no action"

Just zero self awareness.
A few hours later he limp raised me when I raised some piece of **** hand in late position and one person had called behind. I snap fold as does the other guy and he drags another monster.

Then I finally stacked him for his min buy when I overset him after raising decent double suited queens from the BB on qtx with a flush draw out there. Flush hit and I assumed I lost but luckily he just had aj1010 double suited that he overlimped with. After the hand he kept crying about me raising that "shitty hand" and kept asking what my other 2 cards were despite the fact I had tabled my hand. I wonder if he also cooks rice in his hotel room.

What you just described made me angry and I don't even play PLO. I'm surprised someone hasn't snapped at him yet.

who said they haven't lol.

and it definitely should. it would annoy me if i saw this about someone playing 5 card draw somewhere.

I guess he doesn't get it in with qq or kk preflop and run into it. I don't think I could even develop a strategy to keep my losses so low. Diesel is truly a low variance savant. He should write a book or maybe just a newsletter if he's pressed for time.

by DrDownLow k

For that to occur villains would have to be less self aware than Diesel.

According to PokerAtlas, Trooper Sunday is up and running.
Last Sunday (March 10th) Trooper Sunday didn’t run, not enough players.

Lots of speculation on my part.

The thing to keep in mind with Rice is that he only shows what he wants to. That tiny sample of results he showed will no doubt be the best block of sessions he has had in a very very long stretch.

After a while you learn to read between the lines with a guy like Rice who only doles out information that he thinks is favourable to his image. Any period of time where he is silent about his results you can safely assume he is underperforming because as soon as he has anything semi decent to report you can rest assured he will smugly let everyone know about it.

But he wasn't posting that for results, he was showing something about his hours in certain rooms for comp dollars and just showed this from his spreadsheet.

Maybe it was all a ploy to show what a genius he is in having low variance $13/hr. or maybe he posted that pic without thinking about the info he would be giving us about his tiny wins and losses.

by parisron k

Maybe it was all a ploy to show what a genius he is in having low variance $13/hr

Yeah that's my point. He wouldn't have shown it unless the results are flattering to him. The fact that he thinks those results are flattering speaks volumes.

by parisron k

Think again...

He won't dare tell us his win rate for 2023. He prefers to show selective snapshots of brief periods where he runs well above average and still only manages to win $13/hr. He's just so proud of the fact that he can avoid ever losing a lot by only playing 1 hand per hour.
