Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.

I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.

Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.

Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.

No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

Yes, you should always buy the button for jackpot benefits and image, this is Tommy Angelo 101. I still remember when you had to post to come in as a new player everywhere in 2/5 and below.

Diesel is so clueless he doesn’t realize why people get offended because the question is are you a cheapskate or did you come here to play when the dealer asks if you want to buy the button.

Whoa, that's a name from the past. I was lucky enough to live in the Bay area and see him every once in awhile. He may be the nicest guy I ever met in a poker-related setting.

Also, Diesel doesn't play much in bad beat jackpot rooms, I don't think.

by angle_shooter k

And his best interview is when he called Trooper a "horrible person"

Actually that could be the best ever poker interview of any poker player.

Prior to Sparkli and Prior to Rice, the video from five years ago:

Lol in todays video our pokerpro El Diesel discusses eating on only comps for 1 year straight and how that is gonna be possibly done.

He says he would not do it if he gets a bet that doesent pay him like 200K,but man if he would that make for so much legendary vlogs i cant even start to think about it. Oh man, he is gonna be hating life so much numerous times if he decided to embark on a mission like that.

what a waste of life

can we please aim higher, like howabout a challenge to pay $100 for a meal every week, forcing him to actually play better poker

what a waste of life

Kinda remarkable when you realize that this was the sperm that won.

Kinda remarkable when you realize that this was the sperm that won.

just to clarify, I was referring to these challenges that waste a week or a year. not any specific person as a waste of space on planet earth

life is too short to only eat overpriced and nutrient-poor crap in a casino food court fast food or cafe

Lol @ Rice saying he would only do it for 200k.
That's like the equivalent of 2M for a successful person who has a great career and income.

Say he makes 20k in a year from poker, adding 200k on to that is an 11x boost. He would immediately become the 3rd person in history to officially retire from poker as there is no doubt in the world he would then live off his dividend portfolio.

He wouldn't take that bet even if someone gave him those odds. He's not exactly a rocket surgeon, but he knows he would have to cheat just to stay alive.

The funniest part is him talking about how healthy a salad is, with a stogie shoved in his face.

It's all nonsense anyway because there would be no way of verifying compliance. Who is going to wager 200k on the honor system against a mouth breather like Rice.

Don’t know if anyone has posted this since I don’t keep tabs on this thread but this guy Mike Reardon’s editing is incredibly good and the dry sarcastic humor is hilarious. I watched this one while baked last night and was dying at his Greyhound station interactions:

Link doesn’t seem to want to work with the YT tag but just click the damn link:

https://youtu.be/1aGugG_q5QE?si=FplGubbR...

here's one from crazy David, who plays high stakes cash with video and pretty good production, from "the beautiful Tropicana casino"
he shows 3 hands where he won like $4K, lost like $2K and won like $700.
at the end of the session he was the biggest loser down $4000. wait, what? how did that happen?
too much talking, too much pregame post game, but not the worst vlogger

That guys vlog is good. Seems different than most vlogs.. I like the presentation/vibe.

That's all good and well, but does he make sardine slurry appetizers off a used towel in a third rate casino hotels bathroom?

Does he block anyone who disagrees with him intelligently and then have full arguments on camera vs the commenters that are left?

Even when Diesel is arguing against a single comment without a person there to respond to him he still puts together the worst possible arguments.

This is an Ivy League educated lawyer who would make far more $$ working at McDonalds, and when somebody points it out to him he launches into a whole diatribe, laughs, puffs on the cheapest cigar money can buy, and then buries his head in the sand.

Diesel’s smugness levels 10x when he’s puffing on those cheap cigars, gotta love it. Diesel can’t work in fast food, retail, or be a dealer, he would go absolutely nuts — so the commenter is wrong even with Diesel’s terrible argument. Diesel is good at promo grinding, tutoring/teaching kids that eat paint chips, and sorting packages in some backroom at a UPS store, and that’s about it.

I like how Diesel laughs at people saying he makes $8/hr at poker when we're not far off. It's hard to win money at poker when not only do you hardly play hands, you average 1.4 hands won per hour and some hands being preflop.

There is no way he's making more than $8/hr strictly from poker and not including in promo money. It's not a surprise he plays enough hours twice a week at Horseshoe to qualify for their "freeroll" tourney. I'm sure he'll use the excuse well I pay into the promo fund so the money I earn back counts as poker income which while true, it's the bulk of his income.

It's not a shock that he hates Bellagio (non promo room) and doesn't play at any other non promo room besides Caesars cause he earns double tier/double comps which helps offset his lifestyle.

Agreed, absolutely up there in the peak Diesel videos.

Its also hilarious to me how he acts like a commenter is WAY off on something, when its 99 percent correct except Diesel digs up a tiny tiny detail to push back on.

Like the guy that said enjoy your 1/3 and 4 bucks pr hour: Diesel of course does it the autistic way and gets caught up in the absolute number as in 4 bucks, but completely misses the broader point that is him making absolute dogshit at the lowest NL stakes.Whether it is 4,7 or 11 bucks pr hour.

I can walk into Caesars any night of the week and easily pick out at least three grinders that likely make $15+ an hour long term at 1-3.

The lack of self awareness that there are people that make 2x-3x what Diesel makes is stunning. What a huge coping mechanism you have to have to be Diesel.

Just to be an autistic devil's advocate, the University of Nebraska is not an Ivy League law school.

He has an Ivy League undergrad and a law degree, which makes him an Ivy League educated lawyer, even if his law degree is not Ivy.

Technically correct, El Diesel's favorite.

Don’t forget guys, word is you can live “like a king” on $24k/year in Vegas.

Don’t forget guys, word is you can live “like a king” on $24k/year in Vegas.

Cheap cigars, unlimited nights at the Rio w/ free WiFi for your KOQ reruns, boxes and boxes of buffets to go filled with the finest bagel sandwiches west of the Mississippi, gourmet room feasts featuring a variety of canned meats, all you can grab leftover condiments at Bellagio, endless 1/3 nit on nit action with bountiful promo fund $$$ up for grabs. What are we waiting for??

We need a naming contest.

What would you call Rice's breath after burning a $2 stick, eating a can of marinated sardines at 115 degrees, and drinking Glacier Freeze Gatorade?
