Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.

I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.

Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.

Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.

No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

Absolutely not as far as i know. Not to state the obvious, but superduper lifenits like him is _always_ bad tippers.

He’s talked about his tipping habits, he’s actually slightly better than the typical uber nit. He tips 10% on any bonuses won from high hands. For typical poker hands, it’s a little more stingy and standard for the nitty crowd. Curious if his tipping habits have changed since the increase in rake last year though.

He does however tip very well when he wins a promo. I think he tips like 10% no matter the amount he won which is strong.

Didnt he talk about cutting down on his tipping habits as a response to the increased rake in Vegas pokerrooms? I think i heard him talk about that in a video a while back.

Rampage loves to throw around the "hate" and "haters" buzzwords but everything Alex said was spot on. the guy claims he lost a million dollars, and still plays in all these nosebleed games and vacations in Sydney for a month. then he begs for a million dollars to play a game because he doesn't have it

where's the lie

is it true he got staked and then lost it all in a massive punt to a friend?

He did punt large to Mariano and then there was a video with Mariano giving him a ride in his car. lol

Hmm, I thought Diesel was a movie/TV show savant, he thinks in the famous scene from the movie Casino that a helicopter was following Joe Pesci on the golf course. lol

Hey, it was a thing that flies. They probably all look the same to Diesel.

He went to Australia for some WPT thing. He's some sort of ambassador or something, so they might have flown him down. He seems to keep cash and tourney bankrolls separate and his tourney bankroll is probably in good shape. He had a high finish recently, and won decent money last year iirc.

He's worse than Diesel in the way he's talking down to everyone. Sure, Rampage, us dum dums have no idea how staking works. Please explain it better in the future for us dolts. Also, saying it's not like he's trying to free roll roulette or something with subscribers money. No, you're trying to free roll poker with subscribers money in a lineup where you'd be better off playing roulette.

oh wow, surprised people aren't making more of that

Rampage is, without a doubt, an entitled grifter.

So I was reading the comments in that Rampage tweet and found this. Diesel really has zero clue as to why people say he should have bigger swings and/or have bigger losses. Hey Diesel, could it be related to how small your win rate is the past two years? Nah, it’s just those miserable people talking smack and being haters.

Every time I think Diesel is fully aware of his poker skill level and is just trolling us, he posts comments like this.

It took Trooper this long to quit poker when he finally realized he couldn’t beat it long term. I think this dealing job will do the same for Diesel but he’ll say oh he enjoys dealing. It’s so much fun. He wants to be the best dealer possible and the only way he can do that is to quit playing so he can focus 100% on improving as a dealer.

I noticed this too. it's all about the haters.

ya know, you are allowed to win $150 in a session without losing $150 the next session.

Diesel in the comment sections...

"I don't play for comps anywhere. I play where I think good games are and I'm aware of the promotions and comps at each place."

While also currently doing a challenge that qualifies him for Horseshoe and Westgate promos by coincidence for the exact amount of hours it takes. Weird.

Not weird. But bullshit.

He's 100% a promo grinder. He couldn't live if it wasn't for the comps. His next challenge should be to live solely off his poker profits for 2 months since he's a pro poker player. That would be an interesting challenge and he could collect comps for future needs.

Rice is 100% a promo grinder.

It really is something how effortlessly Rice lies to himself and his viewers.

Yep it's hilarious. I also forgot about the Westgate part of the challenge where he wants to arrive when they open the room but it's definitely not for the $20 table starter bonus. It's just that he's aware of it and coincidentally is there cause he needs hours for his challenge and definitely not the 100% rakeback bonus for playing 30 hours in a week.

by BringBackMo k

Details, please.

I was at Parx- in Pennsylvania the gaming commission sets the rules. Everything is S17,surrender,DAS,RSA. At the time the main floor had 8 deck games with so so pen and high limit had 6 deck games cutting off less than a deck, with some dealers half a deck.

I had played blackjack there probably 30-40 times for 1-2 hours each time without issue. Every time I also played poker.

So one night I'm there during a snowstorm. It's the only time I've ever seen plo not running there. A lot of times high limit was pretty full which sucks for counting. This night it's completely empty.

I think **** it I bet a bunch of people in surveillance called out sick nobody cares about anything on a day like this.

A half hour later a pit boss called me by name (I wasn't using a card that day) and told me no more blackjack blah blah blah.

Being I play poker there I never tried playing bj there again. A few months after my backoff a lot of the main floor went to 6 decks with really good pen and I can't play. If I didn't play poker I would have just played again there a few months later but I'm not trying to get trespassed. Pretty sure if I didn't play when the casino was so empty I could have gotten a lot more hours in without issue.

Yeah it's been discussed here before. Love when Rice claims he didn't care about losing the pot, he only cares about the stupid reasoning given by the the guy calling with pocket 8s.

Just like in today's video "2 terrible things" happened at the westgate. The first terrible thing being that they gave away his seat for not being on time. But apparently he doesn't care about not getting the $20, he only cares about having to now wait to get in the game. Diesel - the king of cope and delusion!

Found this old video of Rice recounting a standard boring bad beat story to the Troop from 8 years ago:

I could only watch a few mins of that because Rice was taking so long to get to whatever the point. Going on about a Russian who was really Polish and not getting to the meat of the story!

The sound levels of the video are just awful so can hear the background music more than Rice. Also the way he is looking at neither the camera nor Trooper whilst telling the story is a bit disconcerting

Oh and the other "terrible thing" was in relation to the number of hours he had played at Westgate. You see Rice wants to play exactly 30.00 hours there and not a second more. Playing any longer than 30.00 hours would result in him not achieving maximum EV from the $300 promotion. Well the issue was that there was some confusion or miscommunication regarding his hours and the net result is that Rice tragically had to play an additional 2 hours at the Westgate (according to his records)

This is definitely a problem with staking. It's really easy to do stuff like this.

Now I don't think he was chip dumping but you can't rule anything out.

To his credit when he won (maybe came in 2nd?) in the Wynn 25k a year or so ago he paid people out who bought pieces even though he won off of his 2nd bullet which came out of his pocket and they didn't pay for. Not something a scammer really does or frankly not something anybody does or should do.
