Gobbo other Thread got closed by the mod said it doesn't belong in the House of Blogs, hoping we can have this one without Trooper talk.
This thread is to discuss local professional poker players on their journey. Please refrain from mentioning the local youtube celebrity who plays poker.

This now stands for this thread:
Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.
No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.
Update April 2018
********************
OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

A new update March 2019:
NO ****ING POLITICS!
Actually I think there are a lot of people that are like her. Molly dated him too.
People often aren’t logical when they are choosing who to be with.
Some women also like having a guy with problems that they can try to fix so there is hope for Pman as he ages.
Studying is one thing but applying it in real time and adjusting for context is another.
I bet he plays pretty solidly 95% of the time but spews in the 5% when he's tired/tilted.
Playing winning poker is not rocket science but being able to manage fatigue and tilt is where most people fail.
The 5% is the hardest part and something that you can't learn from studying.
Like someone else said here he probably isn’t solid at all and I think a lot of his opponents see him as a total fish.
So, has the Trooper actually quit? I see on his IG he selling candy at farmers markets?
I wonder what finally caused this? He doesn't seem like the guy to just stop... ultimatum from the gf?
He talked about quitting around a couple of years ago and said he couldn’t wait to quit poker.
Could be the gf. He might have realized he is happier when he doesn’t play at all. Thinking you’re a crusher while you are around breakeven for years, blaming bad beats and thinking you are the unluckiest player ever, never improving your roll while noticing the rake keeps increasing and games keep getting tougher to beat would encourage some people to quit.
I think playing like El Diesel looks miserable and even he at least has made money with his style, so playing like Trooper (or Pman or Bike King or some other breakeven 1-2 player) would suck even more.

Except that Rice chose dealing at Orleans for the World Series of Suckage over playing 1-2 “Promo grinding making $3.67 an hour” instead.

That’s the point though. Rice at least made money with his style of play, but it still sucks to do that so it motivated him to do something much better. Good for him.

For his sake, I hope Pman’s pi pi is still working by then.
That is what happened to TBC many years ago with some scammer chic named Britni.
I don't even think they ever met, or maybe just once or twice.
what a horrible situation, is nothing sacred anymore?
if you can't trust a stripper..
Wait, isn't that a movie plot with Deniro in it?

Molly dated him because ne doesn't drink.
There is a very short list of nondrinking, nonalcoholic, singles in that age range.
Deniro: Here take my money too!
Doctors told him he had a heart attack but he doesn't believe them.
Cool.
Some people want to do it their way no matter how sound the advice to the contrary. I know this man who's 30 and can play all the soft live poker at his convenience but prefers to grind micro stakes online. Go figure.
"... the only reason I'm here is because I have two boys, and I want to give them $10 million."
The obvious conclusion is that he has a very large life insurance policy since he only cashed for $60,000.
What will it be like when he returns home to a wife a two kids with empty pockets and a pacemaker?
Pman on the move
Something tells me the answer is not nearly low enough that Pman could afford to play. As much as we would all love to see this happen, Airball probably drops on a single dinner more than Pman has earned in the last 12 months.
Pman could be completely wiped out if they do somehow make it happen. If they streamed it then it would be massively popular (with the 50 or so people who post in this thread)
Pman focus on mastering one variant before you branch off into another. From what I've seen on stream your nl cash and mtt needs a lot of work.
