Update April 2018

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

A new update March 2019:
NO ****ING POLITICS!
Rice is not happy in today's video.
Rice might be thinking about putting his professional poker career on hold?
Confirmed... busto
I am a huge fan of 'AA cracked' meltdown vlogs and rants... they make the world go lolround.
You all forgot the best part. Diesel deciding the board is scary enough on the river that he turns AA into a bluff. Not only that, he thinks raising a $30 bet to $85 is enough to fold out top set but wanted to really pour on the pressure and it make it $125.
THIS is the real reason Diesel doesn't give hand histories on key or interesting hands. His logic into bet sizings and his whole thought process shows why he maxed out at $14/hr lifetime and why he made sub five figures last year and could
Trying to bluff OMC is bad enough, but a shove is the only thing that even had a chance of working. But he prob never shoves w/out the nuts.
He shouldn't do hand histories like this because opponents that see this will wait till he puts money in the pot and shove on scare cards.
I had a 4 night offer with no resort fee that I used overlapping a weekend during wsop, basically no played them and now have the 5 night offer. A friend of mine stayed with me for one night, ran maybe 10k through slots and vp , has no other time there and has a worse offer than me. Their algorithm is quite strange.
Rice having a complete meltdown over a standard beat.
And called off a 50 hours of poker in a week challenge!

A whole video bitching about an OMC playing tight. After he min buys into 2-5 games and playing tight for the last week. Zero self awareness! If he knew his opponent was that tight take advantage of it.
In the comments section is where the gold is found. Diesel exposes himself and shows how bad he really is with his thought processes.
He keeps defending the flop check back with AA with oh this is Vegas poker. You wouldn't understand as well as giving no one in the player pool any respect. He thinks most everyone is a level one thinker that never goes beyond oh $125 is a lot of money. I should fold all of my range.
You would think that all the stats he collects from every session he has played for over a decade and seeing his win rate plummet, would be a clue that maybe something is going on. If he's still playing the same way and thinking the same way, maybe it's the player pool that has changed and gotten better over the years?
Nah, everyone at 1-3 is a drooler and a level one thinker. Just running bad, variance, unlucky etc.
It was 95 to call to win 265. If OMC is good 27% of the time, he's profitable.

His best response to one of the comments was “Anyone else would’ve quit for life in May of last year”. I guess referring to his epic run bad of 2023 that he somehow overcame and didn’t quit poker for life.
okay, haven't watched any ELD videos in a while but gave him the click this time.
that was the most pathetic video ever. in every way. he played that hand as badly as it possibly could be played and everything he said was complete rubbish.
"I have AA. QT2r flop. I know I'm beat!"
"Flop goes check check."
"He bets $30, I know I'm beat so I raise to $125."
"this only happens here in Vegas."
"the challenge is done, I cannot mentally recover from taking a bad beat in 1/3"
"I'm a professional poker player."

ELD can't quit he would have nowhere to live or eat. He needs to go back to $1-$2 level and earn the tier points and take advantage of cheap rooms and food to maintain a subsistance level and hope his car doesn't ever break down or need high dollar repairs. He is already at the top 1% of homeless people all he needs to do is get a girl from a homeless shelter to keep his hotel room clean while he is out playing low stakes poker. ELD never should have raised since the nit he was playing against knew ELD had AA based on ELD's reputation and style of play and the opponent must have had something better than AA necessarily and ELD could have only lost $60 if he had just not raised.
ELD's top priority is to get Diamond tier for 2025 again so he can maintain the $8 Harrah's rooms instead of the $20 Excalibur rooms.

Nomad is the king of coping tactics.
He somehow believes that this level 1 thinking opponent just randomly decided to take a stand for the first time in his life in this very hand against him. He claims that any other time he would have snap folded to a raise to $85, let alone $125.
By thinking and saying these things he is able to maintain the delusion that he was just unlucky. Sure, it's just rotten luck that his opponent randomly decided to call him this one time he was bluffing, but yet every other time when he actually has it he gets zero action. It couldn't possibly be that this river raise made no sense whatsoever, given his play on the previous streets. It's impossible in his mind that his opponent was able to figure that out and snap off his poorly thought out bluff.
It's much easier for him to handle situations like this by spazzing out about his terrible luck rather than be rational and accept the possibility that maybe not everyone at the table is a drooler like he makes out and maybe he's not nearly as superior in skill/ability as he thinks he is.
... it happens

FWIW: I thought Rice's video today was omfg entertaining !!
He was only at the table for 30 minutes and thought there was no way this villain ever had AQ or KQ?
How does he know this villain so well that an $85 raise is more than enough to get him to fold a set?

I didn’t even think the $125 raise was big. But there is no way I’m trying to bluff villain off of a set there. Interesting he thinks it was such a fantastic bluff and thinks a villain he observed for less than half an hour folds sets for $55 more.
"this guy all day never bets more than $7 and suddenly he bets $30..."
A) so why did you call them raise?
B) you were there like half hour, how would you know a nit's bet tendencies in half hour?

this video is amazing

I stayed when they first opened and had a nice buffet and people dance on the ceiling.
Then 6 years ago during WSOP.
