Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.
No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

Diesel is the kind of guy who does well in school bc he's good at memorizing stuff not bc he's good at thinking.
Unfortunately for him at some point you have to join the real world and regurgitating minutia isn't good enough anymore.

The most important part about being a lolcow is having an overinflated ego and to think youre really great.
His comment section is restoring my faith in the world, because if he actually got people to watch him because they thought ti was good content it would be insane to me.

Does Pman have any tier status? If he can get resort fees waived he could possibly survive.
He should sleep at the Southpoint to get the late night food specials and breakfast deals and then put in ten 15 hour days at MGM for Gold tier while offering to do runs to Canes in exchange for free chicken tenders and then check into the Excalibur for weekdays and live in the airport for the weekends or the Red Rock Movie theater on Saturdays with the movie pass.
If he is a first time Caesars member he can tier match to Diamond otherwise he would have to fly to Atlantic City and tier match at the Harrah's Atlantic City which accepts non first timers for tier matches.

Diesel has got some problems!
He is traveling around the country to NOT play in poker games! The comments are numerous and absolutely vicious by viewers.
If Diesel thinks that he is going to have a perpetual annuity with YouTube payments, I would suggest that is going to drop off VERY quickly, much quicker than Diesel thinks. IF Diesel is not going to play poker, his number of viewers is going to collapse.
Won't be a problem. He doesn't have to really play poker, just pretend to play poker. He can even "lose money" without really losing a cent.
Rice's latest: Leaves Houston. It's official, No Texas poker. Gets cigars at grocery store.
Drives to Lake Charles, LA where there are simultaneous UTG and Button straddles, double and triple straddles, the one saving grace is he is playing 10 handed, but he decides he is too tired from the 140 mile drive and doesn't play much.

I love how the local guy commented "I've seen an influx of homeless people moving in around here," as if that's how that works.

were they trying to say that the sign houses were a bigger eyesore than the millions of political signs themselves?

This is why I subscribe. Rice is heading to his hotel room. "Maybe you'll beat me there," he says. The video cuts to a shot of the interior of his hotel room and him walking in. "Hey, you did beat me here!" he dryly announces.
Besides not playing in Texas at all which is of course weird, the weirdness is compounded as he stops and plays in Lake Charles, Louisiana, about two hours away. Poker out there has damn near completely dried out in the past decade due to the rise of the Houston rooms. Horseshoe doesn't run consistently, and the other two big casinos (Nug and L'auberge) have two poker tables between them. I can't imagine any Houstonian poker player in their right mind who would elect to go to Lake Charles to play one weekend over Houston.
Great move stopping at HEB and getting grub. By far the best bang for your buck in terms of quality, ready-made food from Houston grocery stores. Shocked he didn't snag a cheap rotisserie chicken as well, one of my go-tos.
Of course rake is vastly preferable to uber nits like Rice who play like 1 hand every few hours.
He's happy to fold every hand while the other "fools" at the table frivolously play hands and consequently pay all the rake. He's sitting on easy street with his opponents unwittingly paying for all his comped benefits/promos
But he was pleased as punch to go to Rice Stadium at Rice University to film his outro. It made the whole Texas non-poker trip worth it.
Rice would prefer to earn 50k in a year and spend 48k rather than earn 200k and spend 200k. This demonstrates perfectly the level of stupid we are dealing with here.
His greatest joy in life is living frugally like a homeless bum. He puts Allan Kessler to shame! At least Allan isnt afraid of a little volatility (as evidenced by his high stakes advantage slot play)
Yeah no kidding! Someone like him who folds every hand waiting for AA and KK... some days he probably pays no rake whatsoever. Once again, Rice has outsmarted the system!

no I am not a miserable person. I enjoy my life, and my 9-5 job allows to support a family and play poker recreationally for fun, have a garden, a dog, be a contributing member of my community, etc.

nothing beats the freedom to walk in any $20 Airbnb you want in a sketchy area while munching on a pocket bread
Or an even better comparison, which lifestyle would you rather have? Someone making 200k and spending 198k or someone making 50k and spending 48k. Cause according the Diesel, both lifestyles are the same since they both net 2k a year.
