OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

A new update March 2019:
NO ****ING POLITICS!
New Pman vlog. He's playing the Westgate flush promo horribly. Many years ago when I played full time, I had an in person meeting with the poker room managers at Red Rock and South Point to discuss promos and right type of promos that generate action vs hours promos which obviously don't.
Westgate is running a flush promo where the first flush of each suit wins $100. This is exactly the kind of promos poker rooms need to run cause it incentivizes playing lots of hands to chase certain relatively easy to hit hands. MGM would run a promo where you had a bingo card of sorts where you had to make a hand of each rank. So two pair, three of a kind, straight, flush and a full house. You complete that during the Thursday night, Sunday night and Monday night football games, you win I think $500. BUT, here's the kicker. The pot size had to be at least $40. So you would get larger opening raises then usual and enough action to get to the $40 threshold. I believe you had to win the pot as well.
You would see people chasing all kinds of hands to try to finish the last hand ranking which was usually a full house but not always.
Well Pman was chasing every suited hand to hit one of the flushes even if there was a raise or reraise. It doesn't take much thought to know how this ends up in the long run.
Let me guess regarding Pman, the grind has started yet again? 😀
Wait. So Pchild had a free $1 8 team parlay, hits 7, and if the 8th wins he gets $800 and so he hedges the last game for $30??
Great Pchild quotes:
"Up $12 for the month" "I have got to play more disciplined" "It is hard to play 1/2, it is for such little money" "Lost only $300"..... make it make sense.
Starting at 4:06 is like the classic free association stream of words of every degenerate total loser. Parents should play that audio for their children so they know what not to grow up and become.

He just doesn't value money. He needs to work a 10 hour shift waiting tables and walk with 250 to understand but that's beneath him.
Also, it's a cumulative endeavor not a one time money grab. Average that measly 200 a session over the long run and see where you're at. Each session is as important as the last and one brain fart can blow up your week or even a month. Pman is the poster child of why most fail. He does everything wrong.

It's actually quite sad to hear that monologue of a degenerate gambler. He literally sees poker in dollar value, not big bets. Oh it's only $10 to call, that's cheap. Instead he should look at poker in the sense that at every decision point, you try your best to make the best decision possible.
It's not oh I have 64 suited and it's only $10. $10 in real world value is not much at all. I call. It's I have 64 suited in the big blind, I'm facing a raise and a three bet. If I call, the original raiser might four bet and I'll be forced to call. I'm not getting the right price to see a flop. The only decision is to fold.

He's an idiot
PMan while up around $200 3 weeks into the month - “Ill take it” - settling into that life of poverty and dependence like a champ.
has pchild ever strung together consecutive winning sessions?
seems like every vlog is predictably: "played great, won $700" followed by "just lost $600"... followed by "good session, made $200" followed by "got coolered, played bad, lost $350"

That is the degenerate pathological loser.
He goes into a session all disciplined and gets up a few hundred, then becomes all loosey-goosey and dumps it all back.
If that doesn't happen, then he is up bright and early the next day and you hear "played stupidly" "coolers" "bad beats" "missed a few key spots" until he is happily in the red again.
Then he "needs to get disciplined at these small stakes" and the cycle continues.

Very well put.
The use of excuses repeatedly is a classic sign of a degen gambler. Also the classic promises that a "new beginning" starts tomorrow, next week or next month, then they continue exactly as before with the same leaks, same tilt problems and losing more money.
Wow, the Pman video is awesome!
Where do we sign up to stake him in upcoming tournaments?

Also the way he talks and handles himself in the videos, you just know for sure he takes the poker sessions seriously. Makes sure he had proper sleep before he goes out to play, makes sure he had a good meal before he goes out to play and generally is in a stable mindset setting him up to make good decisions at the table.
Also lol at always talking about "bunch of coolers" or framing it like everytime he stackoff its +EV or unavoidable. Running bad, some coolers-yeah sure buddy.
How do you explain all the multi generational houses in Europe and Asia when multi generational and extended families living together has been part of the culture for centuries and you don't have hoards of Pchilds running around?
there's a big difference b/w parents letting adult children leech off of them and treating them like 5 year olds and a multi generational family living together where young people are always working and taking care of their elderly relatives.
I know Asian a people in this country in their 30/40s who still live with their families (granted the vast majority of Asian people i know don't live like this). But their parents were super strict with them growing up, they have a good job and their actually helping out of their older relatives not living off of them.
And this is someone who has had multiple coaches from what he has said. lol
Also, like someone mentioned before, there are plenty of free to cheap resources to learn poker. There is no reason for someone to be this stupid after several years of "study" like Pman.
Pman says stuff in the video like "I know better than to be in hands i shoudnt be in,and am better than this".
I dont know how to say it Pman, but if you keep playing hands you should fold pre and keep making plays you know you should not-you are de facto not better than this. Cause if you actually knew better, you would not do it at the table over and over again. The reality as of today is that you are a losing fish that plays 40-50 percent of hands, there is no other way around it.
Stop lying to yourself in order to cope with the failures. Take responsibility.
In the early days of the United States the government gave out free land in the West and there were not any excuse to be Nomadic since a free plot of land was given to all in exchange for setting up a fence and developing and clearing the land for farms and livestock. However in the current environment all land is owned and the Nomadic phenomena is occurring. The lack of homes for people has caused multigenerational families to live in the same address and Pman and ELD are products of the real
Pman lives by himself in the condo bought for by his parents, that's the opposite of housing crisis
US has one of the lowest rates of young adults living with their parents in the world, Italy's for example, is three times as high
are you seriously saying that El D would've lived in his own house making $5/hour playing 30min of poker a day if not for a housing crisis?
An incredible line from a Bloomberg story today:
“There are 27 million paid content creators in the U.S., and 44% of them say social media is their full-time job.”

the amazing thing about that is who pays them and for what.
overall these "content creators" are just placeholders for ads. many of these "content creators" have no talent and just get views from lazy mouthbreathers just scrolling along. I have seen 10,000 Expedia ads on YouTube and have never once spent even a nickel on Expedia.
This is ThinkBluePoker's buddy Brandon, a poker dealer at the Venetian and degenerate Buffalo slot player.

With regard to ELD, he calculated the amount needed to buy a house in New York and calculated the cost of being a Nomad and came to the conclusion it was more efficient to be nomadic. I think had housing been affordable such as around $200,000 for a single family home, then ELD likely would have gotten a job as either a lawyer or poker dealer and paid off a home in 5 years while eating cheap rice and saving on razors and hygeine costs.
With regards to Pman the likelihood is high he has some sort of endocrine disorder possibly low metabolism or low testosterone or marijuana use that causes laziness.
Rampage with another blow up video.
Starts out on tilt, and chooses to chase his losses by firing multiple bullets into a $20K.
Rampage throws himself a pity party at the beginning, in the middle, and the end.
For me it's all sweet schadenfreude.
Rampage had a 4 year sun-run, and got full of himself, and way too cocky, imo.
His sun-run has cooled and he ain't liking it so much.
Rampage is still making bank with YouTube money, merchandising, and endorsement money.
When Diesel says something like "we got 8 tables going", I picture him meeting with other poker players before the room opens, giving a motivational speech to each player on how to keep the games going, then them all going home each night and congratulating each other on a job well done of maintaining games

It's hilarious how secretive and selective Rice is with giving his results. The other day when he won $300 he felt compelled to report it in his vlog. But today when talking about the high hand bonuses; any other person in the world would have at least mentioned whether or not they won a bonus. Of course Rice gives every other mind numbing excruciating detail about the promotion except for whether he actually got anything out of it.
When asked point blank in the comments he manages to reply while still totally ignoring the question in his usual passive style. This demonstrates clearly that it isn't a case of randomly forgetting sometimes to give results and sometimes remembering. He likes to give results but only when it suits his purpose and only if he can present them in a way that makes him look better than he is. If you were to ever ask him his results for a particular day or week or month you will never get a straight answer out of him because that way he can't sugarcoat and manipulate the data.
It's obvious he is now playing purely to keep his channel going, earning that sweet youtube money and patreon money from his LOL newsletter subscriptions. Other than that, he's only playing for caesars status/comps. Maintaining diamond is a must in order to get discounted room rates and waived resort fees. Plus free grub at select Laurel Lounges when he travels to Council Bluffs and Atlantic City etc.
