Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.

I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.

Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.

Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.

No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

A lot of 'Professional Poker Players' have sponsors ya know.

Mommy/Daddy sponsors? I guess thats a thing. In a sad way!

When ELD gets to NYC he should do a 30 day free hotel challenge at the Roosevelt Hotel. Since ELD speaks fluent Spanish, he can sign in saying he is from Argentina and then can get the free $350 debit card per week.

Not any more. Since Trump won the election, NYC mayor Eric Adams has called an end to those freebies.

You guys need to step up. My boy, pman, has still only sold 1% of his available action on poker stakes. No markup...it's a steal.

It's a steal alright, but he's doing the stealing.

Not only that but it's not like they can scale up at the same workload. If they get an order for 1000 pralines, they have to hand make 1000 pralines and the time cost for that.

It's not like it takes the same time to make 100 pralines as it does 1000 pralines.

And again, have they done a cost analysis on their product to make sure each item is priced correctly?

I used to think poker was a hard way to make a easy living but I was wrong. It's handmade candy making.

And has been mentioned before, whe

They need to put a defib on Trooper's youtube channel.

Today Rice tried to discuss poker in Pennsylvania or at least the eastern half of the state. Mentions Parx, Philly Live and Wind Creek. Says Harrah's Philly no longer has a poker room. Of course since he has spent so much time in the area he forgets the best room action wise, which is Rivers Philadelphia.

Rice starts his video from the WAWA parking lot. Mentions a couple of times he will be driving for hours through some beautiful countryside and some great scenery.

Transition to .....

Rice standing in the parking garage at his destination for the rest of the video.

Bonus Footage: Rice operating the WAWA kiosk for a gas station breakfast sandwich, but they are sold out of the sandwich he wants.

Irony of troopers sprkli channel is the fact that what they are trying to do is interesting. Who wouldn't like to watch 2 people trying to make a business work from nothing against all odds? But his channel will never grow with such stupid video names and terrible thumbnails. Its painful to see someone so long in the youtube game know absolutely nothing about youtube

100 years from now, people will mention Sprkli in the same breath as Mars and Hershey. Then what will the haters say?

Amazing vlog by Rice today where he ruminates on his theory of resort fees.

According to Rice, in Rice world, the purpose and use of the resort fees that corporations charge for their rooms in Las Vegas is for the maintainance of State and city infrastructure and road construction.

If there are any openings on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, I nominate Rice. He would be the best candidate for the job.

ELD supports the monorail extending to the airport as well. But it is also reported that the monorail parts are no longer made and it could cease working. This would cause a major problem for those who stay at Harrah's for the $10 rooms and need to monorail to Bally's (some call it Horseshoe some call it the original MGM Grand some call it the Bonanza some call it Two Coins) and MGM Grand for promos and tier hours.

And he just commented on today's video that he really doesn't know what happens with the resort fees.

Can I have that 11 minutes of my life back?

nah Parx is.

I always had a much higher win rate at Rivers. So many fish. Parx was good on weekend nights when the New Yorkers came to play.

Parx has some great BJ games too 😉

According to Rice in today's vlog, resort fees are like a state tax on tourists to pay for the roads, infrastructure and general upkeep of the city which other taxes are insufficient to fund. And here I thought that the resort fee money goes to the casinos charging it!

Also bonus info: apparently people travel to Vegas for hiking and hunting lol

They sure do.
Too bad I'm banned from playing BJ there.

The sad thing is when I got banned the main floor was all 8 decks, high limit was 6.
Now half the main floor is 6 deck.

In retrospect playing in an empty high limit pit during a snowstorm was a poor decision.

He's talking about the room tax.

He's talking about the room tax.

How does Rice make avoiding resort fees a massive part of his life purpose and then have no clue what they are and who gets the fees? Dumb as a rock!

A commenter on ELD's video reports that Fountainbleu is loosing $400,000 per day.

by Koshka k

He's talking about the room tax.

No, he was specifically literally talking about resort fees. Or in other words, he didn't know what in the hell he was talking about.

This sounds like a familiar story. Like I’ve heard it on a podcast or YouTube in the last 6 months…

nothing amazing. got back into card counting a lot in 2017 until covid after not having done it much for almost 15 years.
i definitely made a lot of mistakes such as shitting where i eat by doing it a lot at parx since I played poker there as well.

One day the poker room was pretty dead bc of the snowstorm. So i went to high limit BJ to play their deeply cut 6 deck game with nobody else in the pit. for those that don't know in Pennsylvania the gaming commission sets the rules for blackjack and they're very player friendly. Best rules in the country.

I foolishly thought nobody would care much since the place was empty and half of surveillance probably called out of work anyway. Big mistake. Got the boot after about an hour of play. I wasn't using a card that day but they called me by name since I had used one other day when I was just playing. I should have realized they had basically nothing else to do but watch me play and not played that day. Way easier to fly under the radar and play when the place is busy.

While I've gone back to other places that backed from off from BJ ( I mean who cares if they back you off again), I've never played bj at Parx again since I don't want to get trespassed and not be able to play poker there.

Live and learn.

As far as podcasts/youtube- definitely wasn't me.
