Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.
No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Exactly. For him it's just like collecting those sweet dividends on all his stocks.
The more rake and promo drop the better it is for Rice. He will just sit there smugly, folding and laughing at all these recs who foolishly get involved hand after hand, many times not even with AA or KK.
Sure, they earn more in a month from their actual jobs than Rice makes all year, but the joke is on them because its unlikely they will even partake in all the promo money that they are unwittingly contributing to.
Think Blue reports from America's Tire which is basically Discount Tire which was renamed in California. He also goes to Valvoline for an oil change.
Similar to ELD, Think Blue reports a slow leak and America's Tire finds a screw in the tire. The tire was patched for free. Think Blue then states since he has tire road hazard coverage he may attempt to run over screws to get free tires since they need to be replaced in 1,0000 to 5,000 miles.

You are missing the long game on this one. This can be paired for comped weekend boondocking nights. Since Discount Tire is closed on Sunday, then Nomads can sleep overnight in the tire store parking lot on Friday night, then install a nail and get a free tire on Saturday just as it opens. And thus Nomads can get up to four comped weekend boondocking nights sleeping in the tire store parking lot.

I cant figure out the 3coin thing for the life of me. It seems super improbable that guy at that age would be so flush. Likely inherited oil money or something bc his grand idea was a poker/gambling clothing company. They had an ep at his house and it was pretty sweet looking too. I'm glad I'm not like Diesel that makes less than $10/hour and thinks he has won an argument and in life because they pointed out the other's grammar errors rather than addressing the actual message. So much deflection, I guess he has no choice because otherwise we would be talking about how much of a loser he is.
Diesel is objectively massively underperforming in life based on his background, education and upbringing.
Everyone should use him as a cautionary tale of what happens when you can't let go of your ego and die on the weirdest hills.

There are lots of cautionary tales in poker. Usually they're people who blew a bunch of money (often in the pit/sportsbook)the game past them by and no they're broke and miserable.

What ever he thinks or does is always absolutely correct and always the very best thing to think or do. There are no other viewpoints or alternatives.
You can't rule out some form of autism/aspergers, and what he is doing is being the best he can be.
I just remembered ages ago having KK and 3 betting pre after a raise and a few calls and the dude 4 bet rips. I'm about to call and he says wait and turns his hand over to show AA. Um ok.
I realize he's a chicken **** and say I'll fold if I can take back half my bet otherwise I wanna gamble. Obviously I was gonna fold anyway but the bluff got through and he agreed. I could see Rice doing this with AA. And best part is no rake.

El Diesel is clearing on the spectrum, going to grocery stores cause he likes the activity. Are you kidding? Whose got time for that?
IF El Diesel is a professional poker player, why is he cutting back 95% till the end of the year? As a professional, shouldn't he be out there, playing games, winning money and making videos for the YouTube?
Speaking of YouTube, I seem to recall somewhere that videos need to have 1,000+ views to be monetized. A number of El Diesel's video lately have had like 1,200 views. A number of his newer videos have been shockingly bad. I don't think he realizes that most of his viewers view his life as warning, a train wreck if you will...
If he keeps this up, his YouTube annuity will be very quickly coming to an end.

Rice is literally brimming with pride when it comes to these "winning" statistics of his. It's like he believes they are the most important metrics in poker. While everyone else is concerned mostly with hourly rates he is concerned with how few losing months he can have by playing the lowest variance style possible.
He plays so tight that it ensures he will almost never lose over a month, but also will hardly ever make any significant money. That's why when he does sustain a period of losing sessions it results in him having a mental breakdown and needing to run as far away from Vegas as possible because he can't fathom how he can still lose when he only plays AA and KK.
But if anyone dared to point this out to him they would be labelled as a miserable loser, and would likely wind up featuring on his next installment of "Mean, Stupid, Wrong YouTube Comments" for their trouble. He much prefers to stay in his perpetual echo chamber of praise and validation for being such a unique genius at life and poker.
He also just picked random numbers for today's video so he could make his point.
Four hours a day. 30 hours a week. 120 hours a month. 500 hours a year.
When today's video ends, there is a link to another video. It's titled My First losing month or something like that. I clicked it. He lost $71 in February of 2023 I believe. He was thrilled to put in 187 hours and only lose $71. He also mentioned he lost $1600 the month before but that doesn't count because he only played one week out of the month. He said February was the first losing month in which he played 140 hours in a month. I believe that was what he said.
It's Rice's world and he sets the rules and we all have to live in it.
