Maybe he should look into a donut shop. Adults eat donuts. "Trooper's Donuts" would start out popular with cops since it sounds like an ex state trooper owns it. And donuts pair perfectly with his favorite drink - coffee. He could add other baked goods for lunchtime like pizza, sandwiches, etc. Close for the day early evenings for some work/life balance.

Trooper could definitely use Rice's legal expertise, and food cost-cutting strategies, but Trooper might have a fit when finding Rice's shaved hair pile in the middle of the kitchen floor.

And salmon slurry brittle might not be a big hit with Trooper either.

Playing poker this morning. An 87-year-old reg brought in some homemade peanut brittle his son made. It's pretty good. The table is raving about it. But, I've never had Sprkli-grade brittle before.

No surprise there, he barely plays poker anymore. His volume is next to nothing in the recent couple of years compared to his past.

He talks alot about poker in all kind of ways, but when you basically cant beat the 1/2 NL games anymore for any significant winrate, and you have to run back to your hotelroom to detilt when you lose 160 with AA its going to be a massive uphill battle to log serious volume.

Alright so the Troopers paid 4000 dollars just for the booth at Enchant? That seems crazy to me.

So they would have to earn 4K net profit just to breakeven from this event moneywise,not even factoring in all the working hours from 2 persons. That is _alot_ of candy just to thead the water.

This Enchant idea seems like one more of those bad business ideas from mr know it all the Trooper.

don't think I've ever commented on Trooper since he is irrelevant to me but the idea that they have to bring in $4000 in sales of brittle and marshmallows just to cover the booth cost for one event is absurdly laughable

Keep in mind 4K gross sales is not enough to cover the booth, they need 4K of like net profit. So what are we looking at,something like 6K gross sales?

Enchant could basically be the best most profitable sales event ever, and it would still be an uphill battle for at small candybusiness like the troopers to make any real profit counting in all the man hours for 2 people as well.

did some quick math earlier in the thread, they'd need about $20K in gross sales to come close to what they would get if they never got involved with candy and just manned someone else's booth at Enchant
