Live TR 4/18-4/21
Aww ****, here we go again.
Impromptu trip for 4/18-4/21. Mother in law is going to a Garth Brooks concert at Caesars on Saturday and I decided to tag along.
Not for the show, but for the CULTURE.
Staying at Mirage for the duration, was going to do Paris first and the reviews were hot trash.
I plan on eating a ton of banging food, (Lotus of Siam been calling my name!), gambling like a total fool, smoking more weed than humanly possible and trying to make some fat poker stacks. Pinball Hall of Fame back on the list and I wanna try to see a Cirque show this time around if I can.
Anyone in town that weekend hmu!
I'll try to keep TR like my last one, lots of pics and semi live updates. Donfrap got in my brain last trip so I'm trying to find someone to split 100 Coronas with this trip.

Started drinking as soon as I woke up today and hit a wall about 4pm and almost crashed.
Went to the Limitless Shen Lim show at Mirage. Very cool, highly recommended.
Mother in law wants to play some craps so I think we're gonna throw some bones and see what happens [emoji1787]

Quickly dusted $300 off at craps. Dice just ain't dicing for me this trip.
Even had 2 Greyhounds for the rungood and nada!

Made a little scratch here at Caesars.
I raise KsJs 2 spots off button for 20 and BB makes it 50.
I call and flop is Jd8c3s. V bets 50, I make it 150 and he ships.
I'm preeeeeety sure I'm crushed but I'm not folding, **** it.
I call, turn 9d, river is the beautiful Kh.
V shows AJo, worse than I figured honestly.
Won a few small hands and cashed out a $453 winner.
Back to Mirage to drop off MIL for her bedtime, waiting for a Corona and lit $250 on fire playing blackjack.
Currently at Reef and thinking bout heading over to Aria.

How was it at Reef?
Planet 13 has always been a horror story, vast queues and horribly expensive. One for the tourists only, and uninformed tourists at that.
Reef used to be MUCH better, better service and good deals. But last time I visited (December2023) the business had just been taken over, staff levels were down, and the feedback I got from the sales lady was that the place was going downhill. What was your experience?

Great TR-loving the craps sprinkled in. Not many things as fun as when you get on a hot craps table. Do you deploy a certain strategy?
Ended up staying up until 330, walked down to Bellagio for some reason but managed to snatch $175 from the worst and most boring 1/3 table ever.
I then proceeded to get absolutely manhandled at craps to the tune of about $600.
Walked back to Mirage and capped my night off by losing a $200 black bet before passing out.
Total Corona count is super lost now but prolly around 40? [emoji1787]
Down on everything but poker this trip so I'm gonna lay off the pit games today.
Had a great breakfast at Pantry again with the MIL, ate 25mg of edibles and Ubered down to Fremont to wander around a bit before her concert tonight.
Tonight is LOTUS OF SIAM NIGHT AND I CANNOT ****ING WAIT. KHAO SAO DUCK IM COMING FOR YOU BABY.
Checking out Circa down on Fremont and I am IMPRESSED. Super clean, well put together ,Atomic Duck on tap, good staff and the pool and sports book are absolutely the tits. They also have a bad ass little crane game that I won $20 on. Next time I come to Vegas, I'm 100% looking to stay at Circa.

Terrific trip report.
Haven't done a ton of gambling today but it's my last real day since I get on a plane in the AM, so I gotta go a little hard and play poker tonight.
Corona counter is at 44 but I had to quit drinking those for a bit to come to Lotus of Siam and really appreciate it.
Crispy Khao Soi Duck and Garlic Prawns were both absolutely to die for.
Can't say enough about this place. My favorite place to visit in Vegas by far.

I am too but having my MIL with me this trip really changed my dyanmic since i had to babysit her a ton since she doesn't gamble much. For being as old as she is, 68 vs my 38, she kept up with me for REAL.

I always play the pass line and max odds and play the 6 and 8. Hardways too if I'm feeling lucky [emoji1787]

Reef was MUCH better. Prices better, staff nicer, selection smaller but they had what I wanted so who cares.
Would definitely recommend Reef vs Planet 13.

Craps is a fickle beast for sure. I like to bet either inside or across, then press up, usually until I lose it all. Haha.
I tried Lotus for the 1st time last year and really enjoyed it. The chicken satay was excellent. Your dishes look awesome!
Turned it in early last night after donking my stack off, way too tired to be functional honestly.
Flight leaves in a few hours, perfect time for a $200 black bet.
And oh NOW Vegas wants to be my friend.
