POGs 2025 WSOP Trip!

The other blogs have been a good read so thought why not do my own 😃

I've booked it all earlier today, 17 nights at the Horseshoe from 23rd June - 10th July, part of me wishes I could just fall asleep and hibernate then wake up the day before (well after Christmas first I suppose :p)

If this year's schedule is the same as last years then I would plan to play in most of these events:

$600 Deepstack
$500 Salute to Warriors
$400 Colossus
$1,000 Mini Main
$800 Independence Day Celebration NLH

and then either Day 1C or Day 1D of the main, and use my days off that week to do sightseeing stuff (any suggestions?)

I've booked flights home for the 10th which is Day 5 but if I make it that far then i'll be in the money and can afford a first class trip home once I eventually bust (or win, you never know got to have confidence!)

A question I have:

I'm unable to register for Caesars' Rewards online as they aren't taking online applications for UK persons, they e-mailed me and said I can only do it in person. I really don't wish to take $10,000 in cash with me for the buy-in so they said they can do a wire transfer but how does that work exactly? All my savings are in my mum's bank account for safekeeping, can I just transfer it from there or will it have to be a bank account under my own name? And once the money has been transferred, can I withdraw it and use it for anything or is it only able to be used for tournament buy-ins?

If there's an easier way for UK people to buy in for the Main Event then let me know please 😀
