POGs 2025 WSOP Trip!
The other blogs have been a good read so thought why not do my own 😃
I've booked it all earlier today, 17 nights at the
47.6k at first break coming back to 500/1k
POG it up
go POG! rooting for you
57k now, got a triple barrel bluff with an all in on the river through with just a pair of 5s phew
glglgl
55k at 2nd break, coming back to 600/1,200
Down to 37k was up to 75k then lost 2 all ins against short stacks in 2 hands, AQs v AA then 88 v QTs :(
Nobody can accuse POG of being scared money. You're owed a couple of flips. ♠
42.3k at dinner break, got a nice squeeze through with K2s in bb shoved all in other 3 folded
1,000/1,500 when we come back so got about 28 bigs
Great run, I’m sure it was an unforgettable experience for you.
Aye it was unbelievable although I don't think I will be able to enjoy any other tournament after playing that :p
Just realised I have over $10,000 in cash with me now, I need to declare it leaving the USA right? (assuming I don't lose 2.4k in the last 2 days lol)
Will I have any problems if they ask where money came from, it's all casino winnings so got no receipts etc for proof
Any way I can transfer cash to my bank account at the casino cage? Baring in mind I have no banking apps or phone number for verification codes etc as it's all on my lost phone.
Cheers
You could give some of it away to 2p2'ers.
Would it be legal to mail yourself a 1 ounce gold coin?

a few ideas
- I think you're there with your Dad - can he carry some?
- do you know anyone else there...perhaps some Brits who you can sell some $$ to for a wire transfer?
- buy stuff to take home?
In all seriousness, it's just a form you fill out, right? No UK taxes on gambling?
The purpose of it is to catch money laundering and drug and gun runners. The extra few thousand over the reporting requirement isn't going to set off alarm bells.
Aye it was unbelievable although I don't think I will be able to enjoy any other tournament after playing that :p
because of the excitement/sense of occasion?
or the structure?
or sth else?
also...I don't know much about you - was this a bucket list thing or do you play for a living/is this something you could do again?
followed POG for a bit and my read is he has a bit of gamble in him 😃
All of the above
Yeah it's just a form I need to fill out just a bit worried if they ask for proof where money came from as casinos don't give out receipts etc
This is a bucket list thing, was meant to go in 2020 but COVID happened but it's defo been well worth the wait, insane experience
I used to play seriously made a decent living from cash games for a few years then I kind of got burnt out stopped playing for a while started doing sports betting instead and now poker is just a side hustle, play a couple times a week.
Oh yeah I defo love a gamble me 😃 I am $3,200 above the 10k threshold so gonna gamble 3.5k today if I win then great more money if I lose it never mind
Some chip porn from yesterday's cash game I played from 2pm - 2am bought in for $300

It's 10k max for entire party so includes my dad
Yes but no way of contacting them on my old shitty phone, they're all on WhatsApp or Telegram can't log into either on this phone lol
I've already bought plenty of shitty touristy stuff thanks :p
Just don't lie, you'll be fine.
👍
Lost a couple hundred at 1/3, getting ready to go to Hell's Kitchen for dinner I managed to get a reservation wooo
live it up POG, thanks for sharing the fun with us
