Colossus Landmark satellite

If you didn't know how these work, they are a mega where winners are determined by achieving a chipstack of 100k. You get 10k to start, so you essentially have to wipe out everyone on your table. The difference from the showdown type is they keep replacing knocked out players. It's a turbo, ten minute levels.

I started out bad by oversleeping, my crappy alarm on my phone has failed me multiple times on this trip. I woke up from a nap at 11:55 for a noon start. Compounded with my I-don't-have-a-phone issue I expected bad things trying to reg. It only took about 10 minutes to get registered though, and I came in halfway through level 5. I started out running good, winning my first 2 hands, nearly doubling up. I figured out I was on a sun run when I knocked out AK with my AA. I was a little timid, I didn't want to blow it with a 60k stack. Knocked out K-something flopping 2 pair with KJ. I folded 55 with 2 good sized shoves in front of me. The 5 on the river would have ended it had I not folded, but I got there eventually with AA again.

The floor guy thought they were paying out cash, but the cage said I could only get credit to my account. At least I can use it anywhere, it doesn't have to be the Colossus. I might play a few more even though I'll play the Colossus, so I can use it on other tournaments if I win.
