Poker Atlas Pro
Tonight they just switched to $5/month to be able to see the lists and see the names and how many call ins etc.
It sucks but I snap subbed, as I play at Venetian a lot and I need to see those things. lol
I see in recent recent action tab a bunch of people have subbed, supposed to have some new feature coming called valuetown that they say will be great. lol

Yea, but you won't know how many are call ins and how many are in the room waiting. It makes a big difference in how long you could be waiting. Or when seated and you want to see if there is an actual list or just 10 call ins and no list, or when the list is longer than you can see on the board, if you are close enough to even see it.
The service is valuable, no brainer to pay for it.
I’m actually surprised it took them that long

It might kill them though. PA seems/ed to be slowly over taking Bravo but if this causes a bitch fest, I could see it killing future conversions from Bravo.
Of course if PA is shifting how they get paid to a βcharge room less or nothing but make it up from usersβ model, note I said IF, could drive more conversions.

Disagree with you here.
PA is so more advanced than Bravo, can’t even really compare.
Also: people have been conditioned for too long to want/deserve free ****, but this trend is turning around.
And, finally: not like other apps, they (PA) found the exact point where it makes sense and/hurt to have this feature … I agree, I hear a lot of lamenting about it, but then people still buy

It's not free ****, it's (was, anyway) included in the rake. Now that this piece is broken out as a separate charge, I'm sure the rake will be going down, right?
I think it’s a no brainer to avoid paying for it.
If you play in a room regularly you should have a good idea of how long the lists normally are.
Bravo doesn’t tell me how many call-ins are on the lists so I’m used to not knowing that anyway.
To me the most useful thing about Poker Atlas was the ability to get my name on a list using the app, and the app telling me how much time I have left to check in.
You normally won’t have too long of a wait if you use to app to get your name on a list and show up around 30 minutes later.

A lot of times I play at Aria, Bellagio, or occasionally some other room that uses Bravo instead so all that is stuff Iβm used to. I still remember the old days of not even being able to use Bravo.

You can still look at how long the list at a PokerAtlas room. You just canβt see the names on the list and how many are app check ins.
You can still get on the waiting list although Iβm not sure if you still get the countdown till you are removed from the list.
You do get a notification that you have 10minutes to check-in so that does help and you can check what place you are in the waitlist.
As stated above, you can't see who is still on the call-in vs. checked-in list. :(

I understand preferring to sign up on the app- quicker and less mistakes.
But the how time time you have left? You know what time you call and know how long you get. It's not hard to figure out when your call in ends.
pay walls are awesome... NOT.
if you're already making income via advertisements, why do you need a pay wall...
now if they could promise you concierge line jumping, that would be more than worth it.

Sure, the amount of time left isn’t a big deal. I still think it’s nice to know the exact amount of time I have left. And then I can use the app to check in (actually this part is better).
Not having to call the room is a much bigger deal to me than anything else the app offers that Bravo doesn’t.
I am definitely not going to pay to get info like “Joe Smith is third on the list.”
On Android phones, they reverted back to showing names on waitlist for free account so it seems that there must have been some backlash?
Still have to enter 3 character screen names so that is interesting.
