Rooting (not the Aussie way) for you! LFG!

I'm really chipping up first break I'm all the way up to 40.2 k. I was up about 15K early on but just started leaking chips plenty of time to do something and this looks like it's going to be a really big field so it could be a nice prize pool.

Play good, run even better!

Gillies was actually pretty good. I had the brisket filet which comes with two sides for which I chose the french fries and the mac and cheese. The brisket was excellent the fries were mediocre and the mac and cheese was actually kind of tasty. The bill came to exactly $40.10 so I hit it right on the button.

That's a huge bargain for the Strip, even if you had to pay for it.

Second break 43.2 K I'm running on fumes. I had a brutal beat with a king High straight versus an ace high straight and I just couldn't get away from it I lost about I would guess 2/3 of my stack on my hand. Registrations over at the end of this break though so hopefully I can chip up a little bit and get right back in this thing.

????????? I have played a lot of Wynn Tournies and never saw anybody add-on ever. I am pretty sure it is only for the Friday "rebuy" tournament. I am a one bullet kind of guy so I never rebuy but I always would take advantage of any add-on if they have one. But I haven't played in this rebuy Wynn format before

Their nightlies often have an add-on, which means they often play bigger than the dailies despite having a lower sticker price.

GL in the event. Love the Wynn! My favorite venue out there.

Just going to wander around until tournament time. I may or may not jump into a cash game for an hour or so beforehand. And if anyone's wondering the big ass guitar is going to be huge.

yet another example of just because us humbled humanoid apes can somehow stick a twig down some nasty old desert wasp nest opening does not necessairly mean we should

my offer of initial suggestion to you mr bb other than intentionaly deep breathing excercises except throughout your ample poker table card flopping knowledge is to loosen the tie between your bankroll and admit sometimes playing like a nit is not appropriate on the strip

Third break $153k just a little below average 51 players left 23 get paid.

You’re playing great, keep it up!

Good luck. Stay aggressive

Fourth break 213k. 25 left 23 get paid. Seems like we've been on 25 players for about an hour this bubble is brutal. There's some real shorties though so I'm feeling like I should make the money.

way to go

Just got knocked out in 16th Place fot 985. Probably going to go get something to eat and or drink I'll tell you about how it went later couple of bad beats right at the end

Any cash is a good cash.

Nice run.

I'm tired! I didn't really want to eat a heavy sit down meal but I wanted something so I just grabbed a slice of "free" pizza at the TI since I still had about $10 food credit for today, Really just wanted to get up to the room to relax and slam a few beers.

Cashing is always good (in for 340 entry + add on) and out for 985 for+$645. I have done worse 😀 Knockout hand sucked. I pushed with AJ suited and got call by A6 off. Even flopped a J but somehow that 6 turned into a straight. If I could have won that one I woulds been in position to play for some real money. Same guy did the exact same thing to me a couple of rounds earlier when I had 2 pair and he got his runner runner straight.

This tourney was a battle. Except for a brief period early on before my straight over straight beat I was pretty much always below average in chips. I think I really played my short stacks well though tonight.

I'm just gonna pound another beer or two and hopefully get a solid nights sleep. Plan for tomorrow is right back to the Wynn for the noon $300.

Side note Vegas is nuts on a Friday night! The TI is a mob scene and I have never really seen people in this place before 😀

nice hit!

pretty bad advise.
glad OP didn't just start playing bad cards for the hell of it

Congratulations on the cash, even given the disappointing beat.

Had my best night of sleep so far this trip. It was still too short but my fitness tracker told me I got plenty of REM and deep sleep. And I was also able to sleep until 6:00 a.m. which was nice. Once I got cleaned up I decided just to go down and have my free breakfast at the ti coffee shop. I decided to have a create your own omelette I had swiss cheese onions green peppers and tomatoes. It was pretty good.

Then I decided to go get some steps in. I went down strip to the Link Promenade I hadn't been down there and at least a couple of years. It's a really nice area but I've never really spent any time in it.

Just chilling in the room right now but about ready to go over to the Venetian for some pre-tournament cash. Then I plan on heading to the win for the noon $300 tournament. I'm feeling really comfortable at these tournament tables so I hope I can catch some good cards today.

Broken YouTube Link

Congrats on the cash!

Just finished a nice hour and a half pre-tournament cash session. In for $300 out for 439. So I guess I get another discount on my buy in today. Going to head over to the win and hopefully I can get something going over there today.

25k 30 minute levels. Lets go!

take it down bb!

never said a thing about playing any two

First break 22.2 K haven't been able to get anything going yet but it's early.

I'm out in level 8. I guess it just wasn't meant to be today. I was basically just Treading Water the entire tournament. I made a raise with the blinds at 1200 600 to 3300 with Ace King I was still sitting on about a 25k stack at the time and a guy came over the top for $7,000 I decided I couldn't play poker with him and I couldn't fold so I shoved and he had King King I had no Ace and that was that.
