Las Vegas Casual Dining Thread
We have the fine dining thread, but everyone needs some good casual places to eat, either on the strip or local. I'm fi
I was told I need to try an Italian place called Esther’s. Can anyone confirm this?

YouTube review
While I'm here, I found the 1st review of STK at Cosmo to be worth checking out for an afternoon snack and cocktails. Whole video is good as well.
Spoiler Alert: The girls get hammered doing a pub crawl at the end.
Sorry, I didn't mean to come across as rude. The STK sliders are pretty good. We are partial to the spicy potatoes and endives from jaleo. Not sure if they have drink specials, but Gwen loves their gin and tonics.

You didn't come across as rude. I just knew you stayed there a lot, so you probably already knew about it. For no particular reason, of the dozens of times I've been to Vegas, I'm not sure I've ever stepped foot in the Cosmo. STK happy hour will probably change that.

I'd still probably recommend Block 16 for good/cheapish food. And the Henry for late night stuff.
Jaleo and China Poblano are good for cocktail hour. A lot of people love Beauty & Essex, but I've never been a fan.
I just don't think STK should sway you to Cosmo, but some of the food is good... and some not really.
A trip is planned in Sep. Good breakfast options? I've had good meals at Mr Mamas and Blueberry Hill. Wondering if there's any other places worthy of a visit. Will have a car
Thanks
Have always loved Omelet House on Charleston west of the 15.
yeap... a LOT of food, and good heaps of Cake instead of bread.
Omelet house blows Blueberry hill out of the water.
Omelet House is pretty sweet. Enormous portions.

If you like Mr. Mamas and Blueberry Hill you’ll really like Lou’s Diner. Excellent reviews, solid breakfast options and well priced.
Omelet House and Lou's Diner. Awesome. Love this thread
lou's pastrami ruben omelete sounds preposterous so i want two
Lol are we talking about the same Lou’s Diner? Don’t think they even do omelets and catfish isn’t on the standard menu.
I think Redeye is talking about Omelet House and yeah that pastrami omelet does look nice. I like omelet house, they have a legit corned beef hash. I’m not sure I really dig the kind of potato chip like things instead of hash browns but it’s unique.

Lol to my credit, having internet connection issues where I'm at due to big storm that came through last night and couldn't get to the secret menu. I am familiar with it and ordered the homemade corned beef hash from it before as well as the standard from the can version on the normal menu. I really like this place, I like the somewhat sleazy Decatur location next door to AA/NA/GA meeting spot.
👍
