Is it still possible to get Diamond in a Day?
I have read about it in the past, just curious.
Mostly video poker and 10x or 5x days. Helps jump poker lists at some locations.
How did you get to SS, if you don't mind me asking? I never would have thought of you as a gambler away from the poker table. Can you get it with just poker or maybe with WSOP.com?
You can earn points enough via WSOP.com maybe but you might not get the invite. Making the 150k pts via only live poker, esp since the 5x & 10x days exclude poker, seems highly improbable since it would take 25 tc/hr for 16 hr/day and 365 days.
I just called Caesars and they said I'm Gold now but they still do the Wyndham Diamond match. You just have to call Caesar's Rewards to request it. I tried calling them but it's Saturday and they're only open M-F. I'll try again Monday.

It was announced months ago that Wyndham no longer matches. Founders card losing Caesars diamond was noticed by people about a week ago.
I had sent an email to Caesar's Rewards asking them to move me back to Diamond. I received a response today saying Wyndham no longer matches. you can call Caesars 5 times and get 6 different answers, this part has been true since Caesars had a customer service telephone number in place

That sucks. Note that the change is AFTER people may have expended lots of money and effort to make Diamond Plus only to have the benefit pulled. CET is exceptionally dirty on this move.
So I earned 15,432 tier credits from the Vegas 10X multiplier a few weeks ago and the tier credits posted to my account a few days ago ensuring my diamond status for the rest of 2025 and 2026. I also have the Caesers credit card. This morning, my account shows that I am now GOLD. WTF!! Even if the tier credits didn't exist, the credit card automatically gives you Platinum status. Hoping that it is just some kind of internal update lag. Waiting for Caesers Rewards desk to open so that I can
This has affected a lot of people. I'd hold off for a few days to see if they give their IT a kick up the ass and fix it. As long as it still shows your Tier at over 15k you should be okay. I reckon its because of getting rid of all the matches.
If you're going to Vegas in the meantime then get the cashier desk at Caesars to sort it.

They honor the match if you EARNED it through Wyndham. That is, you stayed so many nights at Wyndham, you earned Diamond and Caesar’s will match it.
But if you have Diamond through Wyndham just by virtue of having the credit card, as I do, then Caesar’s no longer matches.

hm.. i used 3rd party which was cheaper instead of booking directly. I know there's no pts in doing that but apparently they won't even bother to record the stay in their system

Because you were effectively a sub contractor. XXX contracted with Wyndham for yyy rooms over some time period and you contract for z rooms with XXX.
This is just one problem with these an inet reservation sites. IME if there is any savings it is so small that your first issue cost more than the total savings.

yes, this is quite unfortunate.
I have the wyndham card which was pretty good for the last few years even though caesars perks for diamond have drastically eroded. Used my last resort fee free stays in December.
That said, the fact wyndham will only match you for caesars if you earn by staying at wyndham is a bunch of malarkey. 99% of wyndham properties are pretty bottom of the barrel... I would rather stay at the desert manor.

Yeah that might actually be the same issue I have. I was FoundersCard Diamond but went and earned it during the 10x week. I emailed them this morning so hopefully it'll get fixed soon.

Yeah this is lame. A few weeks ago a starbucks worker at caesars palace mentioned they would be going back to having diamond lounges instead of being able to redeem at starbucks and i bet this is what was happening, and its not lounges, its just bars only now.

If you are able to play on a 10k multiplier day, you can get Diamond pretty damn cheap.
