Barely Legal - Live TR (06/10-06/18)

I've enjoyed lurking/reading trip reports for quite a while now and decided to post my own. I turned 21 last month and a few buddies and I have made the trip out to celebrate surviving this long :p In addition, my friend TunkPirate also happened to be here and is staying with us for the remainder of his trip and will be live reporting as well.

A little background on me I guess. I've been grinding 1/2 and 2/5 at Parx in Philly since turning 21. No immediate plans for the future except trying to enjoy life the best that I can. Hopefully this can be entertaining.

We arrived at Vdara at 10 PM Tuesday. Here is a view from right outside of our room, 52nd floor.

View from inside is nice as well, I'll provide it later.

We ended up taking a cab through In-N-Out

Great first experience with the chain although I should not have had two burgers.

I brought 4500 for the trip and we decided to make our way down to Venetian and find TunkPirate. He was up over a K at 1/2 and I decided to play 1/3 PLO. Seemed like it was full of regulars and no one got out of line too much. Cashed out up 320, paid back Tunk for my bet on the Spurs in game two and headed to pick up bags at Quad.

Outside of Venetian at 4:30 AM.

We went to Bellagio at 6ish and I donked off 500 at 1/3 and 200 more at BJ. Tunk did "well," you'll see his pics shortly.

I went to bed at 8ish and slept til 2, waking up with only one thing on my mind. Chasing my losses with soccer bets. Well, wish me luck.

Afterwards Tunk treated us to Aria's lunch buffet and bottomless drinks. Thanks boss.

Going to go sweat the third period of Kings game. Tunk and my friend both have money on it. Probably getting really drunk today in anticipation of tomorrow's Brazil game.

Please comment/give advice/anything. Hope you enjoy the report that is now live.

Why do the spammers pick 10 yo threads to bump?

Maybe the mod that deletes the spam post should post a follow-up so us plebs can mark the thread as read?

Or, even better, the developers could fix the thread deletion machinery to notice links that contain that post number, and update them to the previous last post.

Open a ticket, assign it to triage to determine it's a bug and assign the ticket to product support for remediation. Then, in a year, when it's been incorporated in a new release, it'll be fixed...

Or some similar convoluted trail of "fixing it"

Dang, I wish we could do a new release every year. Ours are more like 6 weeks.

At least that spammer included a nice picture!

There will be 6 releases before the release with the fix, because, you know, QA.

Not with us. We go through 2 levels of QA before we install a release. We're not the WSOP - we have paying customers that will go to our competition if we half-arse it.

Pfff, we do two a week lol. But it's all python scripts that run on k8s. ****ing terrible.

Ah, ours are full-stack with 6 or 7 layers.
