slightly off topic, but needs to be said:

the vibe in this thread is so amazing (and very different from most other threads) ... congrats to all posters.

but:
don't scroll and read, while you are in bed, a little hungry, and debating if you should stand up and get something to eat :-)))

Quick dinner at Amaya, the new spot at Cosmopolitan. Very similar vibe as Toca. Only got the steak tacos and forgot to take a pic of the cocktail. Everything was stupidly good, definitely some competition for Toca for the Mexican steakhouse crown. Will have to try more of the menu another time with a group.

Carne asada tacos - 10/10 incredible, only $18 and they use prime skirt steak

Chips - 10/10
Salsa - 8/10
Smoke and Mirrors cocktail - 8/10

"Oysters Oaxacafeller" Brilliant!

888 Sushi and Robata is the best ayce in Vegas.

amazing spreads, ty for the recommendations, hope to try someday!

+1. I am an enemy of all things cilantro, but this indeed is brilliant.

That menu is insane for all you can eat.

It’s on my list for the near future. Looks amazing and 888 Korean BBQ is one of the best

French onion soup burger at Yukon Pizza 10/10 incredible. $19 for a double, well worth it. Will only be around for a few weeks so you best get your ass to Yukon ASAP.

ooooooh, I live within walking distance, will definitely be trying that this week!

anyone hit the new Esther's Kitchen yet?

what's a decent place to eat dinner at Bellagio for under $70 (not including alcohol; I don't drink) that can use poker comps?

Some more Toca pics:

Off-menu A5 Wagyu skewers - 10/10
Chicken on the hot rock - $39 and 8.5/10
Steak tacos with fresh wasabi - $20 and 10/10 (make sure to ask for the wasabi. it’s a game changer I promise)

They hooked it up with the A5 skewers for free, Toca takes care of the regs. Every time we go there they give us one of these small plates with something off menu that’s different every time, a pretty nice touch for frequent customers.

OMG ****ing YUM

New to 2+2, not new to Vegas. Great thread. Wanted to share Wing Nutz Tavern for absolutely casual dining. They bake their wings (but you can ask for them to be fried if that's your jam). Boneless and bone-in same price, starting at $14 for 6. A little more expensive than BWW but better quality. And no gross atmosphere like Hooters.
Wings are crispy and juicy, not greasy, and they're open 24/7. I'm terrible with photos, but here's one I managed to take of the dirty mango lime before finishing them off. I also had the garlic parm, which was a good balance of garlic to parm. 😃

Nice 1st post. Welcome to 2+2. Those wings look scrumptious!

Remember when wings were .25 each and during happy hour they were .10? LOL. I miss those days.

I can remember when wings were $.15 and free at happy hour (college bar, LDO). "Hot wings, cold beer and live music!" RIP Long Wongs

Nickle wing night on Monday at my bar in the late 80's early 90's. Went to a Dime and then bumped it to a Quarter and everyone bitched.

That French Onion Burger looks amazing. Gotta make it to Yukon on my next Vegas trip.

Those wings look awesome! Will have to try and visit that spot on my next trip.

After seeing those wings, anyone have a top 3 or top 5 list of wings in Vegas? Bonchon has been my go to for a long time, but I would say they have dropped a notch in quality, although I just love how crispy they are. My experience there are a lot of good, but no great wing spots.

Public house has amazing buffalo wings . Don't go on Tuesdays though..

It's located inside Luxor . People always have given me the side eye when I mention it to them but when we go there.. they agree.. one of the better buffalo wings in Vegas.

Late night dinner at Izakaya Tora, very impressed. Some of the best yakitori in Vegas and the gyoza may be the best I’ve had anywhere.

Pork belly skewers - 9/10
Pork belly skewers with optional fennel pollen furikake - 10/10
Chicken thigh skewers with garlic scallion topping (forgot pic so I stole one from Yelp) - 10/10
Kimchi bacon fried rice - 7.5/10
Gyoza - 10/10
Charred cabbage in miso brown butter mustard sauce - 8/10
Spicy tuna crispy rice - 9/10

$120 for two people plus tip. Will have to go back to get sushi items and other stuff. Great spot highly recommend.

Definitely wouldn’t have expected such a strong recommendation at Luxor! But will have to put this spot on a list to check out on a future trip. Are the Buffalo ones the best or did you also like another flavor?
