As long as they nomad their way right out of the state. They get pissed off if you stay too long and don't pay the license plate tax.
Further proof car insurance is a scam. Even non fault claims cause rates to increase. Thus by not having insurance one is insulated against claims. ELD as an attorney and perfect driver can defend himself in the event of a claim.

I just assumed they check right away. I've been pulled over without the card on me and I told the cop I have insurance and he just took the license and registration and obviously checked to make sure I was telling the truth about the insurance. Carrying the insurance card is just a hold over from when they couldn't easily check in real time.

Within a particular state there should be an auto insurance database but in the case of Nomads with out of state plates, it is likely that the second state cannot access the first state's insurance information. They usually can access the registration and plate validity but it probably takes more training and effort to get into a different state insurance database and likely will not call on the phone at the side of the road since they will be on hold or maybe needs to fax something in to request a policy. ELD previously taught that there is a reasonable time limit for traffic stops usually around 15 minutes.

Diesel said recently he doesn't leave a tip for the maids since they don't clean his room during his stay. I guess they don't clean up his mess after his stay? Or since he leaves the room pristine if you don't include all the towels he uses and bagging up his own trash so I guess maids only have to remove the towels and change the sheets, they hardly have to do anything to clean it.

Well, you're clear for the next few months. After that, just stay in nice hotels.
