Thanks to the massive amounts the United States spends on Healthcare, more than any other country, and it's steadfast devotion to fighting socialism and keeping Healthcare private, life expectancy is declining in the United States.

Meanwhile it is steady or increasing in the remainder of the first world.

I played a very short session at my local cardroom when I lived in cali. Got a seat, max buy-in then was $200 for the spread-limit game. First hand, pair of aces. Instead of driving back to his moms house to pick them up, he enlists 'a friend' who has no problem driving 6 hours round-trip from NY to AC to deliver his papers. Rice offered him a free room for the night, but 'friend' declined? I think he mentioned making it worthwhile financially somehow.

Given the circumstances, if I was this 'friend,' I would in no uncertain terms tell Rice to F off and pick up his own gotdanged papers. If you don't want to drive, train/bus/uber it.

One time I was traveling by car with a friend from LV to Florida and hitting poker rooms and he would go hustle up some pool action at our stops and had a stick worth several $100 and we left the next morning for an 8-hour drive for the next leg and 1 hour after we left, he realized he left the stick in the room.

The was no way I was driving back, I was able to call the hotel and have the maid bring it to the office and they overnight fed ex it to our next hotel room, worked out great, was about $80 they charged included shipping.

ELD should have headed via Amtrak/ Septa / train back to Penn Station at least and had his friend meet at the Train station.

ELD does not trust mailing service when it comes to identification documents. Someone might have stolen ELD's identity and drained his dividend account.

Why, when I get health care through Obamacare or whatever you want to call it, is it not accepted nationwide?

I moved from Texas to Philly and, despite asking in December before I moved, was later told the insurance was not accepted in PA. So now I am waiting to hear if I am accepted through Medicaid.

Just another reason the US isn't as great as we think it is.

For the record, apparently any insurance has to be accepted in an emergency, anywhere in the country. At least that's what I was told.

Haven't even tried to collect a dime in 7 years. One of the reasons I moved from Philly was to eliminate her presence from my life. Realized I was never getting that money.

This is a frequently known question in the Nomad community. The Obama and Medicaid plans only work in the state they are originated from. Thus, most Nomads domicile in California or Nevada since they have the best healthcare plans for Nomads and Vegas is the center of the Nomadic universe due to cheap rooms.

Ideally Nomads would register a vehicle outside Clark county since then no emissions are needed and if only staying in a room nomadically. Which is why one Nomad had produced a video staying in Pahrump trailer park for 30 days to get Nye County address which is needed to avoid emissions.

Of course for ELD he uses New York since he has his parent's address for free use.

Also even if the emergency is covered then prescriptions from the emergency room visit would not be covered out of state. So if you get a $500 prescription at the ER you might have to return to Pennsylvania to get it filled. Or transfer the prescription to a pharmacy in Pennsylvania and have someone pick it up and Fedex it.

Yeah and that's my point. How backwards is this? I'm guessing people who live in Quebec don't have this problem in BC.
