For some reason Bittersweet Symphony never quite made the iPod cut. IIRC, Mick and Keef eventually gave all royalties to Ashcroft, which I'm guessing he needed a lot more than they did.

dare I ask how much Oasis is on there?

Posting to get the spoiler-o-rama into the previous page for those using 100 posts per page.

Sorry, rick, but if that doesn't fix people's ability to browse the thread, I may have to edit or even delete your hard work.

Really sorry about your shoulder, GG. In a counterpoint to the "no surgery posts," both my parents had shoulder surgery and were big fans. They said their range of motion increased and pain decreased within a day of the surgery.

This Zoltan fix your problems, APD?

Seems to be working. Thanks!

Love the Mini. Not my aesthetic, but the performance is amazing. It blew the doors off my Miata on the Autobahn, and handled like it was on rails at 140mph. Also, it works surprisingly well for big folks. My wife has the Clubman (original gen) which is the same width, but 10" longer than the Cooper. We were fine with a 6'9" guy in the front passenger seat, though no one could sit behind him, and when I ended up in the back seat, it was fine.

Downside is that like all BMWs, once it starts to

Good to know. About how long did it last before it started being temperamental? I’m working from home like 95% of days now, so my big driving is only around town being a chauffeur to the kiddos, both of whom are less than 5’2” currently

wait, what? Why do you like this?

Idk. I’m not tall, so that would be more of my reservation about small cars. I guess I just like having small cars that can fit anywhere I need to park

visited friend in munich

his partner worked for bmv - one of the perks was access to the fleet, could choose any car desired and just drive in and swap out with the current one - while visiting and staying with him we swapped between a larger bmv for the lengthy trips where we went to amsterdamn and venice but always switched it up to the mini when we were toying around locally in munich

was surprisingly spacious inside, handled great, city parking was a breeze - was by far the favorite option of

Thanks for the info. Probably going to look into them again when I need a new car

Another interview tomorrow. This one as a “financial advisor.” The thought of people paying money for my financial advice is horrifying to contemplate.

About 10 years and 200K miles. Not that it was perfect until then, but reasonable. Since then it's been one problem after another, even with an engine replacement.

Pro tip: Don't make that joke during the interview.

That’s a sales job bruh.

Yeah, I know. It’s the sort of thing where I’m 99% sure I wouldn’t accept even if they offered. But…not at a point where I can be turning down potential job offers.

At least it's not poker advisor.

But 4realz, sounds like you'll be a mutual fund poster boy. Glglgl

Hope you have a speedy recovery GG.

We've been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty.

Good luck GG. My wife had shoulder surgery and was thrilled with the result. I think it depends on the injury as to the results.

verizon just took away ability to create hotspots - absolutely bonkers a us carrier has that kind of control

they want to charge me $10 a month extra to create one - which is also insane

I'm not tied down into any contract right now so that puts me actively on the phone market right now - considering mint mobile just based on price alone, anyone have any experience with them?

currently paying $35 a month, I believe I'm "due" for a free phone upgrade if i stayed with verizon but wouldn't do that because then i'd be locked in for at least 2 more years

weighing pros and cons of it all now and wouldn't mind getting some input

I let ATT sucker me into 3 year a contract for a couple free iPhone 15 pros, the phone is great but Bluetooth is a little weird on it with car stereos.

Would probably consider a MVNO but it all comes out in the wash. $1000 over 3 years is $27 a month, which is about the per-line difference for what I pay vs $35 at MVNO for similar data access
