I tried to whip the stick before and it was very bad. I’m definitely not a fly fisherman, but I’m also not saying no. I know I’ll be in your area a few times over the Summer to ride dirty bikes, maybe I’ll make one of those times fishing instead.

Jeeeze, 10 year old thread risen from the dead.
Crazy enough I remember this hand and the V; hell I even remember the seat positions. Just seen him the other night. Dude basically went busto and only deals now.
I’d be less inclined to 3b without a bunch of info, but also don’t hate it. It’s honestly a coin flip. In the particular hand I posted I’d be way more willing to 3b today than I was 10 years ago.
Most of all though…. Why you bringing up old s***? 😃

Paddy's old thread got me reading the old chat thread from those days, mostly to figure out why I was on a self-ban from strat at the time. It brought back some not great memories of losing like 15 stacks in a row in the best game ever. Yeah, I recall getting "you ok?" texts from APD after I left the game, because he was seriously afraid I'd tilt drive off the road or some ish.

Oh, I got scuba'd hard during that downswing. 600BB pot where he called 18BBs pre with trash, PSB OTF with bottom pair no-kicker, and then an overbet OTT to hit a 4-outer OTR was the highlight of that experience, IIRC. Of course, he immediately gave that money away to someone else.

It sucks running cold/bad in these games. I c/r’d a dude the other night with a OESD. Guy usually folds to aggression and has seen me play plenty, but that night a pair of 4’s with a 9 kicker was too good to let go, and of course the board ran out horrible for both bluffs and value.
In other news I just about SABR Trifecta’d. Got Car Wash > Sped to dry truck off > Cop was around the corner.
Luckily he was on the opposite side already responding to something else.

I only played with him the one time but I managed to hold in some pots. I remember he 3! his straddle to like 75BB with 53ss one hand, and got it through preflop.
That post is such a walk down memory lane. The ANL drama was ossum. M's slam dunk post was fantastic. Even Sabr and Slim showed up to weigh in.
