Ace-5 suited is the new Aces: Hand 1
Game is $2-$100 spread-limit. Villain and I each have $300 stacks.
I open Ac5c on Button to $10, both Blinds call.
FLOP: 6c4c2s (pot $30, 3 ways)
Blinds check I bet $15, SB folds, BB raises to $45, I call.
TURN: 6c4c2s 8d (pot: $120, heads-up) BB bets $45 again. We call.
RIVER: 6c4c2s 8d 7s (pot: $210)
BB checks. Do we bet $100?

RESULT: I bet $100, Villain calls with 63o. Oh well!
So a question…
I lived in AZ in the mid 2000’s and played a little spread limit.
I also have been an advocate of playing Ace wheel suited aggressively preflop long before it was on charts. BUT…
In a 100 spread limit game isn’t calling strong nut making hands in position hoping to go multiway actually a better strat?
Ax suited is a hand that when I play aggro PF I want to be able to empty the clip to make capped ranges super uncomfortable when I miss.
Bet to pot ratio massively decreases FE. Glad you binked.
Now bet the max son or sir 😀
