T8 on a QJT board. Blast off?

T8 on a QJT board. Blast off?

Blinds are $1-$2. Game is $2-$100 spread-limit—most you can bet is $100, most you can raise is $100 over the previous bet. My stack is $400, V covers.

HAND: An EP limp, I raise Tc8c in the CO to $10. Villain in BB calls, lumper calls.

FLOP: QdJsTh (pot: $30, 3-ways). They both check. I bet $20, only the BB calls. I’m putting him at some sort of AJ, Q9 sorta hand.

TURN: QdJsTh 5s (pot: $70, heads-up). He checks. I bet just $25 because I don’t think he will fold pair + draw hands to a big bet, and my plan is to bet $100 on a brick river, and if I make the pot too big now he’s less likely to fold. He calls.

RIVER: QdJsTh 5s 9s (pot: $120, heads-up).

Interesting! I hit the dummy end. He checks again.

1. How much are we betting?

2. Does Turn bet make sense?

I would check the flop, and as played check back the turn (I don't expect him to fold any of his range there for 25 dollars).

I would probably just check it back as played otr, he's not likely calling anyway unless he has a king or a bdf.

I'm checking the river. I dont think he's calling without a king

Preflop is whatever.

Flop: mw I think we bet smaller or check here.

AP Turn: I'm checking turn brick.

River: we have all the AK and NF here, so I actually prefer a value bet. He has loads of two-pair stuff that he will have to call at 3-1 or 4-1. He cannot raise his Kx because we have all the AK. He really can only raise his flushes here and I think he doesn't have a lot of them in range.

I bet $35, looking for value from top pair/2-pair hands.

Villain check-raises to $135 and I obviously fold.
