Massive Combo-draws OPP

Got into relatively similar spots over the weekend. Would love insight on how others would have played.

Table Dynamics - Saturday early afternoon. Table just opened, and H switched to this table because there were three V's who were college-aged and I had never seen in the room before so I figured it be better going against them then the table of OMC AARP card holders I was currently sitting at.

Both hands take place with the same two V's. Both V's are young white, college-aged kids. Table has been open for about 30 minutes, and V2 has complained about how tight the table has been. It has been relatively tight, lots of just opens, and folds, chopped blinds etc.

Hand #1 Stacks are all around 250-300.

V1 opens to 10 in UTG +1, V2 calls next, one other caller, H makes the call in the BB with 76cc

Flop (40ish)

7h5c4c

Hx, V1 bets 20, V2 calls, all other folds, and H calls...

Turn (100ish)

7h5c4c2s

Hx, V1 bets 20, V2 folds, H xr to 75

River 270ish

7h5c4c2s10d

H...?

Hand #2 H is effective stack of about 280

V1 opens UTG to 10, V2 calls, 2 more callers, H elects to call in BB with 45ss

Flop (50ish)
Js2sAc

X, V1 bets 15, V2 bets 30, H calls, V1 calls

Turn (140ish)

Js2sAc3h

H...?

H1 why x/r when your equity went down?

H2 Probably fold pre and fold flop. You'll get stacked flush over flush a lot. OTT you hit your miracle, pile money in. SCs suck OOP.

First hand I would check-raise flop. It's not even a bluff - you have a value hand here and you want to pile money in against overpairs. Against red Aces you are a 2-to-1 favorite on this board. You are also a 2-to-1 favorite against a hand like AKcc. At this stack depth you can easily check-raise flop and then jam turn which seems like the simplest and most effective way to play your hand.

As played, Villain's sizing on the turn looks super weak. I would check river and evaluate, you have plenty of showdown value here.

Second hand is a weird spot on the flop. I would proceed with a lot of caution here because you are drawing almost dead against Ax of spades which might take this line and which both Villains are likely to have all combos of pre-flop. It seems reasonable to call flop here, but I think folding makes some sense too facing this action OOP multiway.

On the turn I would check because I expect these Villains to bet the turn a lot, even if it is for a ridiculously small sizing. It's going to look very strong if you lead out, although admittedly a check-raise will look equally strong.

H1 seems like a mandatory C/R otf, with the plan to gii on many turns.

H2 is tricky. Although both are very small, I might fold otf to a bet and a raise. Calling doesn't look terrible anyway.
OTT, you can either lead or C/R. 3-way, I prefer leading.

Hand 1 CR the flop for value and check river as played.

Hand 2 especially with the Ace being open I would fold as the action can be reopened and sometimes you're dead to an off suit gutter since there are a lot of top pair + nut fd hands that have you crushed.

As played check.

H1 - x/r flop. Barrel turn, give up on river.

H2 - fold flop behind the c-bet and raise.

Check river as played on hand 1. I think check raise or check call on flop and turn are fine.

Hand 2 I wouldn't lead the turn. After v bets 60% on a flop with a flush draw on the board, they will follow through with a bet on the turn a lot, so I would opt to check raise, thinking of the best way to get all of the money in.

Be careful calling raises multiway from th blinds with small suited connectors. It's always tempting but rarely a good idea.

H1 when you flop the world you can do whatever you like but I like a check-raise, potentially with the intention of a double check-raise. But you want to get as much money in as possible while your equity is so good. Runout is no good and I would probably check river now.

H2 closing th action with 4 players already in, again the preflop call feels like the easy option but it's a false path. This is not really a board to check-raise. Against a bet and a minraise, anything other than a fold will look strong and you have a weak flush draw and gutshot, so it's probably a fold. Not sure about the best action on the turn as played, feels like this will check through a lot so maybe a bet might be in order.

Results;

Hand #1 - H meekly x, V x, and H loses to QQdh

Hand #2 - H x, V1 bets 30, V2 calls, H xr to 115, V1 folds, V2 tank jams for about 220 more H snaps, V folds and said he didnt have spades. V1 said he had AQo. Maybe he had A2 or AJ?

I like the c/r in hand 2. Nobody expects the gutshot wheel when it hits bc of the attention to the 2 Broadway cards. Don't mind the flop call.
