End of action JJ vs wet board bet

$1/2/3, UTG straddles for $6

JJ in BB, UTG1 and UTG2 call the straddle, folds to me, I raise to $30, everyone calls

Flop 5c3s2c I bet 25, UTG2 calls

Turn Kd both check

River 4c I check he bets 45

Call or fold?

As played I would fold. However I would bet more otf to around 55/65.

It's also helpful to know what the effective stack sizes are.

I fold because people don't usually bet this size on hands we beat when the flush completes, there's 4 to a straight, and we can't even beat a king.

Posting stack sizes as well as a little clearer action (i.e. it isn't abundantly clear whether we're 3ways versus 4ways) will help get better responses.

Assuming big stacks behind and not committed at any point, I'd probably play similarly and then fold this horrible river (where we're mostly only beating showdownable hands that have decided to turn their hand into a bluff, which people very rarely do).

Looking at it like this I agree that 25 is pretty low

We both had a couple hundred behind by the river

4ways on the flop, 2way after

Flop bet is fine, I may fire turn small too. As played I would call/fold based on previous history and a read on the player. It's 50/50 IMO

I bet bigger on the flop, and I continue on the turn unless you have some specific read on this player that it's not a good idea.

River is a fold for me. A naked A beats you.

Raise bigger pre. Make it $35-$40.

Multi-way and OOP, we can check-raise flop, or c-bet small.

Unlikely anyone is showing up on the turn with Kx. I'd be over-betting pot, 1.3x-1.5x, expecting to take it down there.

If we get to the river, as played, I might block bet 40% pot and fold to a raise. There aren't a lot of hands V can have that we can target for value.

I don't like check-folding after the turn checks through.
