ALL 3 OPTIONS ON THE TABLE? AQ multi-way OOP

Game is $2-$100 spread-limit. Blinds $1-$2 with a $4 UTG straddle.

I raise AhQd UTG1 to $14 and get 4 callers.

FLOP: KhQc6d. (Pot: $70). BB checks, straddle checks, I check, UTG2 checks, Button checks.

TURN: KhQc6d Th (pot: $70). Check check, I check, UTG2 bets $10, Button calls, fold fold I call.

RIVER: KhQc6d Th 2h (pot: $100)

I check. UTG2 bets $10. Button calls. They each have $150 behind and I cover.

We have the Ace of hearts and second pair.

Raise, call, or fold?

call

This is good now just call.

WTF is going on?

Bigger Pre, like $20.

Can't fold 2nd pair for the price.

unless your read says a weak k will fold say the $10

Never folding, but I think calling or max raising are probably reasonable and both probably have similar EV. Once again playing spread limit really holds us back. Would rather be able to jam than raise to 110 here, but 110 should still have fold equity.

110

In theory it seems all cool and all, but I am skeptical how often people would really fold a K here in practice.

I think raise and call have similar EV, depends a lot on opponents, image, meta etc. I think we easily get KJ to fold, though it’s somewhat likely he’s value betting a worse hand.

Pre is too small. Would you check the nut flush on the river? I might lead pretty big on river myself, but people don't fold flushes often. I'm not sure a check/raise is more believable, so fold or call the $10.

I also might raise that little turn bet to see what happens, but you didn't give any reads so can't say for sure.

theres a ton of 2pair here and no one is folding that given the line. just call.

I check. UTG2 bets $10. Button calls. They each have $150 behind and I cover.

RESULT: I did raise to $110. UTG2 tanks for a bit, but eventually folds. Button folds too.

I did consider just calling with my hand—I only have to be good 1 in 12 times after all—but I really thought both V’s were called at top pair, and especially with my blockers that a max raise would induce folds almost every time.
