Deep-Stacked at Home with AKo in the SB
1/1. No rake, no promotions. In this game, opening bets started at five. After an orbit, they went to 6. Before this hand, two people opened to 15.
V1 (850): Hero has played with him for 20 years. When he goes on tilt, he calls with everything. When not on tilt, like now, he calls large bets wide. He bets his good hands. Bluffs about 20 percent. He loses $20,000 on gambling per year. Tilt arrives unexpectedly.
V2 (730): Deep-thinking V2 plays too many, calls wide, wins his hands on bluffs against V3.
V3 (covers): Whale who came to loose $3,000. Playing 870, 46o, A4o, etc. with V2.
Hero (780): TAG. When hero played with V2 and V3 one decade ago, he was a nit. Hero still plays with V1 a few times per year.

V1 in the UTG opens to 15. V1 and 2 call. Hero with AKo in the SB?
I've played for almost five decades, 48 years exactly. I started playing poker at 7. Would you believe me if I told you, my game has improved? I post my worst-played hands on this forum because it makes me accountable and entertains the readers.
We'd all get tired of it if you were constantly posting hands you played to perfection.
Keep doing what you're doing.
But, yeah, without wanting to hurt your feelings, that flop play was no bueno.
This forum isn't about knowing what to do. It's about discussing hands and learning from them, not matter if they are complicated or simple, and getting different perspectives. Obviously you know nothing about strat forums, so please don't post until you learn a little about what do in this spot.
this is exactly right.

V said he had QQ. Hero saved himself $140.
V always tells the truth here. Once, after he said he folded a winner, and his opponent accused him of lying, V went on tilt. "I never ****ing lie, you *******," he said. He reached into the muck, pulled out his cards, and threw them at his opponent. "I hate you ****s," he continued, "here, take all my ****ing chips," and threw them at his opponent as well. Another time, after someone accused him of lying after he said he was bluffing, he reached into the muck and accidently pulled out someone else's cards. He smiled and turned bright red. V is playing with us now after getting kicked out of the casino permanently. Because he drops $30,000 a year on poker, we're happy to have him misbehave at our table.
My thinking during the hand--not too clear because of all the weed: if I check, V bets all his pairs and AK and makes a semi-bluffs with all his suited hearts. He checks back everything else. After the very large flop bet, he's afraid to bluff with air here because he fears a check raise from hero ("you always ****ing haven't, don't you, adonson?"). He's happy to chase his Qx and Jx. So I figured I check and fold to any bet. If he checks back, I bet the turn. The big mistake was giving V the chance to bet AK and his suited hearts, and since he would have 4bet AA an KK preflop, hero had overcards to all his pairs. Hero also gave a free card to V, if V was behind in the hand. So yeah, check-fold was pretty bad.
