Rake question
Played in a 2/4 NL game and the rake was 3$ for $30 or less and a cap of $6 for any pot over $30.
Is this beatable long term?
Also, most games in my town are 1/2 is this beatable and at what point does rake make this limit not beatable.
Thanks in advance from new live player.

6 cap is relatively low and beatable.
Only correct answer is: Depends on the relative skill of the players at the table.
But for most normal 2/4 lineups, probably yes.
If they are raking $3 for every pot, it depends on how often the pot gets to $30 or more. If there are a lot of $6 pots and they are taking out $3, probably not. But if it's like most live games and gets either 4 limpers or at least one raiser and caller pre in most pots, this rake is fine, and relatively low.

Thats not bad at all.
So like 10% up to $6 max after $30? If so, seems pretty awesome (since I'm assuming most pots likely get above $30). My room hasn't seen a maximum $6 rake since early 2017.

What are the buy-ins? Sounds like a good structure.
