What to do with top pair on the turn
Playing $2/$5 in my local casino
Hero is in the sb with KJo and 76bb (effective)
Villain is a lag and is on the button
4 limpers before villain makes it $35
Hero 3bets to $105 and villain calls
Flop is K45r (pot $235)
Hero best $75 villain calls
Turn 6 (pot $385)

Not sure what "an" means but assuming you are in the blinds.
Fold preflop, V's range should alr be quite strong if they are raising into 4 limpers. KJo loses to V's entire calling range,is a horrible hand to play OOP, and you have to get through the 4 limpers. You just have much better candidates here to make this play.
As played, there is only $200 behind effective into a ~$380 pot, just shove with top pair to get calls from one pair+draws or lower pocket pairs.
Unless villain is recklessly aggressive folding preflop is best. A good lag isn't raising with garbage over 4 limpers. KJo is a bluff, you don't want a call because you have no idea where you stand against calling hands. The flop small bet is fine for building the pot on a very dry flop as long as you realize it's just to build the flop. With SPR just over 1 and top pair your already committed.
As played go ahead and shove turn.
Villain wasn’t entirely reckless but he was squeezing a lot v limpers. 2 hands went to showdown that he squeezed and they were Q9o and 33 so I figured KJ was ahead of his range and worth a 3bet
If your stack is the one that is 76bb then I favor 3b shipping pre vs any other nominal 3b
Pre is a fold and it isn't particularly close. Vs that big of an open with that much dead money and that shallow of a stack, you really should be playing really tight ranges really aggressively here.
Geometric post: 1/4, 1/4, 1/4 prob gets it done.
$105 3b off of $380 stack (please don’t use bb to denote stack size in future) is a terrible play OOP w/ KJo. Once done, just ship the flop.
Can you just like tell me how many dollars you have lol, why tell me its $2/5 and youre 76 BB effective? So thats $375?
I mean, i doubt you want to 3 bet KJo 76 BB deep, but if you flop top pair you go broke. Really you probably just go broke no matter what comes except maybe an ace, you have an spr of 1, just jam flop whatever comes and let V overfold.
i can get behind folding KJo pre here even vs a huge range, but what is your 3b range?
i assume its linear, you dont want a polarized range vs a guy like this.
so if its linear, whats your range?
All in OTT, trivial spot.
