HJ needed to fold to the PF 3-bet, and on to the next hand.
You'd probably get a lot better feedback if you posted from your own perspective and didn't include results and V's hand. If you are HJ and got berated, yeah calling the 3-bet from a TAG with QTo is a bit bad even at a 4-max table, and calling flop is a bit optimistic, even with the downbet, but I've seen much worse. If you are BTN, sorry about the cooler, mang.
btn's 3b is a little too small but w/e (i.d make it $60). in btn's shoes id just shove turn rather than leave $200 that im never folding on the river no matter what comes.
HJ should fold pf to the 3b unless he has psychic powers.
also posting cooler hands is stupid. sometimes people get unlucky and theres nothing you can do about it, thats poker. the only way to prevent coolers is to just turn everyone's cards face up.
That was my initial reaction also. But at 430 BB deep against the CO, is it really that bad?

Ok, I will post only my hand in the future.
I was thinking QTs is a call 200 BB deep and QTo is a fold... but then I realised the CO might come along so maybe QTo is okay? And yeah I was wondering about the flop call. 50/230 = needing ~20%. There's only 3 clean kings... but implied odds to stack AA, KK, AK, AJs might make it worth it?
I was actually wondering if I could exploitatively fold Turn because I have all the AA, KK, AK and he's check raising... but I suppose he has JTs, QTs, Ax and Kx of diamonds, plus I have A and K outs so I just have to get coolered. Sad face.
Sounds like you are Tight Aggressive and are irked by Heater LAG being on a heater. If you want to hear that Heater should have folded QTo to the 3bet pre, that's true but then if people played well, there would be no ecosystem.

Yep, pretty much exactly what I want to hear. LOL
At the table I was thinking "Bad preflop, bad flop, but gets paid". Then on my drive home I started thinking, hmmm but CO was deep preflop so maybe okay. And then I was thinking, actually flop is okay as well because he can stack my AA, KK, AK so perhaps has the implied odds to make the call. That's why I posted.
Okay math time:
EV of QTo call on the flop.
QTo wins against AKs on this flop 14% of the time but I presume he only realises his equity 10% of the time.
40% of my 3! squeeze range continues for stacks (AA, KK, JJ, AK)
10%*(130+50+530)*40% - 90%*(50)*60% = -$12
Okay, perhaps instincts are correct and it is a mistake to call on the flop.
I assume you are BTN and annoyed. HJ's play is generally donkish. Probably fold initially, definitely fold to 3!, fold flop. Turn raise size is strange but maybe OK to lure BTN in.
Lot of I lost to QT threads lately.
Who calls 3bet QTo OOP lol. Turn is also annoying because it's double FD. But I'd think JJ, 44 would've raised on the flop, potentially AJ too. Give how shallow villain is by the river, I'm not sure if I want to call. Would much rather jam or hero fold
As said, you can 3bet bigger vs. fish who call too much unless you are just range 3betting which might be fine vs. V.
Flop bet is probably fine (maybe even big) in solver land because of huge range advantage that should get folds anyway, but against fish playing any2 and can't fold 3 pure outs you can just bet big on flop and shove most turns.
You still lose to worse players a lot though, that's kind of the point.
