i want to to know to how to better do A

i feel im usually way of on my opnnonents rane or i have them way too wide of hands

Yes. There is likely a RIF coming but my seniority is so high I am safe. I don't really trust this deal and I suspect a more traditional offer is forthcoming.

If so, I will exit a couple of years earlier than planned and I need to figure out what I am going to do next sooner than expected.

Retirement is pretty great, but you're correct in thinking you need ot have a plan to fill your time. For the first 6 weeks or so, it's great to have nothing on the schedule, but becomes boring very quickly.

Check out Ed Miller's book how to read hands in no-limit hold'em. You will have to do the exercises in the book to get better at it, it's really dense material and you can't really just read it and grok it, from my experience.

Super Bowl predictions?
rickroll -- especially curious what you're thinking.

A buddy of mine says Eagles and under, 27-20. Makes sense to me.

If I legit thought there would be no referee bias towards one team, I’d say the Eagles win by 7-10 points. Chiefs have just had too much run good for too long in one score games and it needs to end in the most devastating of ways.

BUT, Evil Ron Torbert is the referee for this game, so KC’s run good continues and they probably win by a FG in the last 30 seconds.

I got the Iggles at +1.5 and the over 49 for a +260 parley for 1 unit. Which will probably be the only action I give on this game, except for the ~$100 total I spend on multiple football pools.

Really, I just want a good game.

Yes I think it's a good book. It was released before the recent surge of solvers and preflop charts were so popular, so it might be slightly out of date but the fundamental concepts still apply.

i feel im usually way

so this is 99.9% of my game, which as you mentioned, is why i absolutely love having a gg at my table because i can nearly always pinpoint his exact holdings and have the perfect response as an exploit

i spend most of my time at the table profiling people, seeing how frequently they play a hand, trying to note their limping and raising ranges, finding the price at which they won't see a flop with J7 oop etc

early on when there's little play history, some good ole racial, agial, and cultural profiling does wonders - a 60 year old white man wearing clothes from affliction is far more likely to play a certain way than the 60 year old asian guy with a jade card protector

there's also a lot of players who will always donk if they have top pair on the flop and always check otherwise

this is why i firmly believe that long sessions are the key, with many mini breaks where you just walk around and refresh

ime most high vpip players turn into fit or fold post flop - if they show aggression post flop then proceed with serious caution - but this is often where i make most of my poker money is when i have a strong hand and see they are acting aggro where they are usually passive means they probably have a weak 2 pair with their Q5o so i'll overbet 300 into a $175 pot and get that call

and i'll always assume they have the flush when they show agression and there's 3 to a flush out there, since they are calling all their 26s etc as well as always chasing even when the pot odds aren't there so they'll be getting a disproportionately high amount flushes (just think about how every session you folded way more eventual flushes pre than you actually got in played hads - those people get all of these)

the only wild guys who are truly difficult to play against are the aggro 90% vpips who will bet agressively with their bluff and are 100% cbetting and always pushing hard on the river - for those guys i simply nut peddle and they either never last long or build a massive stack so the issue will either go away or lead to be big double up soon enough

extremely unlikely i'll have anything on the winner or total - probably the most efficiently priced individual game in the world

i will be going balls deep in various alt props they never usually offer but do for this because it's the superbowl, things like whether or not a fg attempt hits the uprights, but haven't yet dived into that

Yeah I was planning at least 3 trips to the states this year. They're all either on hold or cancelled as of today.

Might take Mrs. Breeze to Europe this summer instead.

I have an idea. You and $80kChipKelly get a Class B Van that you live in, travel the country playing 1/2 during OMC hours, and vlog it. Your youtube channel and vlog can be called “Bang Bus.”

Thanks for confirming why I won’t wager on winner/spread.

One close friend loves Eagles (and under (27-20)
Other is leaning heavy to Chiefs.

So I was torn already.

Europe in the summer is lovely tho can be a bit crowded in the hot spots

That’s fine. We handled Manhattan crowds with no issues. Looking at locations that don’t get super hot in the summer anyway.

Not quite as much goof off time at work thanks to my reduced working hours (which I'm loving, would highly recommend).

curious your thoughts on hungry horse poker (if you even know what that is)

have not dived deep on him but whenever i begin doom scolling through youtube shorts late at night he pops up a lot

at first i thought he was a clown because he has really childish graphics and style and seems to state things definitively as opposed to the better option popularized by polk with "a call, a fold, or a raise are all reasonable here" but over time he seems more informed than i would have guessed and it seems like i missed out that he was joking about some stuff because I've seen some vids more recently where he's like "villain can never have JT here based on how he played on earlier streets so we have an easy call" and then he calls and villain has JT so there's definitely an element of humor/trolling which i may have not realized in his earlier stuff that i didn't like

i haven't seen enough of his stuff to make an informed opinion but gun to my head i'd say he knows what he's doing

one thing i found surprising is that i actually think highly of jonathan little's youtube content for low stakes exploits - found it very surprising because my only knowledge of him were him trying to sell nfts he made of pictures of homeless people in vegas and that many 2p2ers i respect gave terrible reviews for his books which i haven't read so i've definitely been guilty of jumping on the bandwagon of "man he sucks" but then when i saw some of his content i'm like "oh he understands this exploit better than i do because he's able to articulate it whereas i just did it without understanding why i did it"
