2/5 live poker session 12292023 seeking for comments

2/5 live poker session, 9handed $1000 cap. I will post all the hands I played and hope to get your feedback and comments.

Hand 1
PF: Straddle pot, Co r to 30 I am at the SB have KQo 3bet to 110. Co call. Pot: 225.
F: 5s5d9s. I cbet 100 he fold.

Hand 2
PF: aggressive MP open to 20, HJ calls. I am at the SB with TT just cold call. Pot: 65.
F: Aq2r. Check through.
T: 4. I check fold.
Comments: From John Little's suggestion I feel 3betting TT here is not a good choice. Just cold call in to play post-flop should be OK.

Hand 3
PF: Loose UTG (vpip > 60%) open 15 I am the HJ 3bet 55 with AsTs. Pot: 115
F: 2s9djd. He c I cbet 75 he fold.

Hand 4
PF: EP limp, I have QhJh at the MP r to 25. Tight Co calls. Pot: 80
F: 889r. Ep c I cbet 25 co and Ep all call. Pot: 155.
T: T. We make the highest straight. EP c I bet 100. CO jams 570. EP calls with less stack ~300. I tank call.
R: brick. EP has QcJc. CO has TT turn full house and won this 1500 pot.

Hand 5

T: Q. He bet 150 I c. pot:900
R: brick. He jam 300 I c he shows QQ.
Comments: Looking back, feeling 5bet jamming pre absolutely OK but feeling in this short stack cold call 4bet with AA IP also fine. We will get the money in at any street so check the flop also fine to me. Feeling it is a cooler.

Hand 6 (Blunder)
PF: 3 limpers. I am at the BTN with QcJc r to 35. BB c and one limper call. 3way pot 140.
F: 7sJd2d. bb c ep donk 55 into 140 I c bb c. Pot: 300
T: Ad. CHECK around.
R: 3s. BB c EP bet 165 I call ep r to 800 EP fold I fold. BB shows Qd3d turn a flush.
Comments: we shouldn't call the river especially the A and diamond get in the turn. especially there is still BB remaining to act where he can check his flush a lot of the time. Blunder river play.

F: AsKc3c. UTG c I c btn bet 75 ep r to 210 I fold btn jam EP c. BTN has KK ep has AcQc. Jc come on the river.

PF: loose ep limp one post I am at the btn with A8o r to 40 only ep call. Pot: 95

R: 4. He bet 250 i c he shows 56o river a straight. We lost this 1000 pot.

Hand 14
PF: I have KJo open 20 utg, loose MP c. I cbet 15 on the flop and check fold the turn
Comment: KJo is too loose to open utg

Hand 15

F: 4cJc6d. SB c I bet 35 MP c SB c. Pot:175.
T: Th. SB c I bet 130 MP r to 500 sb folds I jam ~800 he c.
River: 6. We river full house but he shows JJ. We lost this 2k pot.

Session win/lost: -$3000
We are dealt 3 AA and lost 2 of them in heads up pot. We lost our set and straight in big pot. Feels like one of the coolest sessions but also want you guys opinions.

Happy new year!

Post one hand at a time. Some of these hands are worth commenting on but it’s too many to read and keep my thoughts straight all at once.

3 hands max is a good rule of thumb. Anymore than that and you risk nobody helping you (unless you're paying them).

you cbet too much into multiple players, dont 3bet pre enough, but at the same time open raise too much pre as well.

also in hand 5 EP limp RR here is always a hand that is never folding pre so just shove.

additional food for thought is that its good to note that when you are HU and the board comes low cards, i find it very profitable to underrep because people always put you on AK.

hand 1 - SB does not 3b

hand 2 - Fine - it 3b's sometimes but mostly calls - AP unlucky flop

hand 3- Probably fine to just fold vs that sizing. You have a few backdoors. You could call one and see what he does on the turn since you are gonna like any 8QAT or spade and you can continue.

hand 4 - your cbet is too small - I would check GTO but i'm pretty sure it likes 60-70% pot or check but multi way it would probably like a check. On turn you should probably just fold vs a tight player shove and a call. Your probably so rarely good. I'd call 89 and 99 though even though we don't have 89 that often. I highly doubt they have much 8x that doesn't raise the flop so unless you have a good read to call it's a fold.

hand 5- I mean whatever - I guess it's fine ether way, but after someone puts in 33% their stack i'm just jamming expecting them to never fold.

hand 6 - river fold after A and diamond complete - so pretty much ya

hand 7 - is only an open pre 5-10% of the time - the rake is too high and you need the BTN - also the stacks behind you are too shallow.

hand 8 - you flop gin and win - not really sure what else you want to do.

hand 9 - What - this isn't a hand that needs to be here.

hand 10 - Seems fine, you can sometimes keep barreling turn as the 3 is a total brick and you may get him to fold some weak Kx and I doubt he has many sets OOP with a heart draw on board.

Any ways that's all i'm doing
