50/50 3 strong hands
V1 hosts a game, this isn't his game. I know he plays basically every day, cash and tournaments, and is a winning player. He plays like a good online player, 3betting and raising first in at close to optimal frequencies, capable of laying down hands. We have some history together mostly in tournaments but occasionally in cash. V1 probably perceives H as a winning player, looser than most.
V2 is a badreg and on tilt. He's been getting raised all night and folding to raises. He regularly value owns himself betting TPTK/2 pair on a flush/straight board.
H is down on the night after getting two outered shoving trips with an open ended straight draw and flush draw vs an overpair. Our image might be slightly tilted but we haven't shown anything really out of line and we've mostly been playing ABC poker.

Is this a private or semi-private game?
Why did you decide to cbet pot in h1 but 1/4 pot in h2?
I don't understand the flop check back in h3. JT flop (I assume rainbow) can hit a lot of hands and create straight draws. I know the flop may favor the caller, but I don't think you can check in position.
Why did you blast the flop in HH1?

1) Yes
2) I mix up cbet sizes pretty frequently and A I think this villain is much stickier than V2 who overfolds to an exploitable degree, I've seen him make very light calls facing aggression B the board is slightly wetter C I think it's more likely my opponent flopped top pair on a T high board than a 9 high board
3) I'm doing this at a low frequency but it's also villain dependent, I think villain value owns himself on the turn with 1 pair when checked here a really high % of the time.
Hand 1 I guess now we bet big (2/3 ish) and get it in. I don't like potting the flop though. Villain sounds like at least a decent reg, zo I would default to a 1 size flop strategy. I like 40% pot. I don't think our range or our hand wants to bet pot on this flop. Not only are we missing out on value at equilibrium if we bet this size, we are turning our range pretty face up with this size. Unless our image is that we could have AKo here and villain is very, very sticky.
We're betting a size where JJ without a spade is going to be folding at equilibrium and JJ with a spade is mixing.
Hand 2 now we're betting too small imo. I would still be going 40% pot. I would played I would probably bet/fold 3k and check river of we don't hit a J. Seems nitty, but I think a turn raise is very strong and we are starting to not get called by worse if we bet river. Alternatively if v bluffs a lot or stabs a lot on river with worse, checking turn to call most sizes on river is not bad. If we had QQ we still get value from TT and JJ, and KK+ also gets value from QQ. JJ still loses to QQ and might make TT fold on the river so I think it starts getting thin to go 3 streets.
Hand 3 again I would bet 40% pot on the flop. Even blocking the top two pairs, there are so many draws villain can call with, and he can still have a lot of pairs that won't fold. Checking back top 2 pair here is maybe a 10-20% frequency play. The reality is that as the preflop aggressor in position, we rarely ever should be slow playing our strongest hands like top set, top 2 pair, etc. Especially top2 pair though. As played on the river, jam
IMO it is fine to vary cbet size as long, particularly if you have reasons but opponents will have difficulty finding a pattern. You don't want to give them much information with sizing. The full pot cbet does seem strange in today's games, as solvers almost always cbet relatively small.

Spoiler
Hero jams all 3 hands
Hand 1 V1 tanks for like literally 5 minutes and folds
Hand 2 V2 snap calls and shows TT, doesn't hit it
Hand 3 V1 tanks, says I can't believe you check raised me with a T and hit it, folds
Is this an unraked home game at 50 cents blinds or high stakes 50 dollars? If the latter, who is the bad reg on tilt? There are few bad regs in the world who can play these high stakes.
Is hand 2 against V1 or V2?
Vbet all three as played.
Hand 1 I would bet flop 1/2p.
Hand 2 I would 3b larger pre and cbet flop 2/3p+.
Hand 3 I would flat pre and range bet flop.
Hand 1 I'm barreling turn, for a large size.
Ditto for hand 2.
Hand 3 seems like a jam on the river.
Little confused about the V's in hand 2 and 3. Is that V2 or V1? Might change my thoughts depending on the V. I'm assuming hand 2 is against V2, not V1.
If hand 3 is against V2, I might size down on the river, to get looked up light, or maybe induce a spaz bluff raise. If hand 3 is against V1, I think we can just jam river after 3B'ing pre and checking back flop.

It’s not that much bigger of a game than 10/20. You don’t see bigger games in casinos all the time because the players get poached by private games but they exist. You can find a 25/50 or 50/50 game most nights in LA, NY, Vegas or Chicago. Probably other cities with a large cash culture too. In china this is like a small game.
