1/3 - $500-600 eff, AKo on double flush board

1/3 - $500-600 eff, AKo on double flush board

So villian is spalshy, i've seen him jam 300bb effective vs 2 players pre with AKo, vs a 3b. I've also seen him bluff quite a bit, tho i dont remember him ever turning over his cards (more like the "you're good" type and throws them in the muck). He will bet his and call off his draws on the turn - pls keep this mind. Like he jammed $300ish a while ago and turned over A8s, though maybe he was tilted.

villian -$550-600, hero covers

MP open 15, villian calls, hero goes to 85 with AKo (AcKs), only villian calls

flop - $185ish
A72ss
hero bets $60 (yes i know, bet more cause its live), villian calls

turn - $305
A725 (ss/dd) - double flush board
villian has rougly $400-450 left

what's the best course of action here? bet/call? x/jam? vs tight solid players, i think xc is prob best but not loving life. but vs this villian, not so sure.... tia

Verse villian like this I definitely like sizing up flop as you already mentioned- theyre not holding on with middling pairs anyways and if they hit a set/ two pair we will get off easy when they raise.
As for the turn, if we bet more otf we can jam, but I still think you can jam based on this player description- does not sound like he has traps and they may feel more inclined to believe you are bluffing when you jam here and call off with Ax. The other option would be to bet 1/2 on this turn, but that leaves a really weird spr otr if flush completes where we pretty much have to call off anyways...

For your specific scenario I say jam turn and cry if they slow played in low stakes poker.

Against this Villain on a A-high flop, I like a check back ...and then planning to call however much he wants to bet.

Depending on how aggro the table is / what position we're in / etc. I'll sometimes consider flatting preflop to go for the ol' flat/4bet. But 3betting to $85 offers Villain terrible 8:1 IO which sets up a ~comfortable stack off postflop with TP, so fine.

SPR is ~2.5 and we have TPTK on a somewhat drawy board against a guy who gets in chips easy. Without the flush draw I'd be cooler with a very small bet or check in order to induce. With the flush draw, I more lean to PSBing the flop to jam the turn. I'm guessing we were attempting to induce / get calls from hands drawing ~dead with this sizing, so ok.

I mean, this is one of the few boards / runouts that we're kinda ~ok dragging things out over 3 streets for stacks, so I could get behind almost anything that (a) eventually gets all the chips in the middle and (b) never folds.

Pre and flop are good to me. I just bet again and call his shove. $200. I really don't want to give him a free river in case this is the time he decides to check.

$200 turn jam river.

Flop c bet sizing is fine to me imo since you can still easily get stacks in. Id keep betting the turn after he calls the c bet ,around 200 is fine. It's more likely he has Ax or a draw than to float you so you need to get value while you still can, and you are setting yourself up for a 3 barrel where some draws miss and he might hero call with an A.
