JJ between an idiot and a hard place
1/3 NLHE 9 handed
Table just opened and hero dusted off a 400$ stack 3-betting ATo pre OTB, 3-bet pot went 4 ways to AJ6fd checks to H who shoves 1.3x pot and gets snapped by JJ. H just rebought for 400$ and is in CO.
V1 - young asian loose passive. He shows a lot of aggression for large sizings with his value and is learning to size better. His x/call range is full of crap and he's very sticky post. The kind of guy that can go runner runner and drill a 1k pot. vpip about 35% mostly cold calling or limp calling pre. Right now he's up and in a good mood so not feeling bluffy. 500$ HJ.
V2 - kid Ive never seen who clearly has no clue. 145$ BTN.
---
UTG straddles 6, two people limp EP, folds to V1 who opens 40, H sees J♥ J♦ and is about to raise when V2 out of turn makes it 80 leaving 65 back, H was almost over the line with a 125$ raise and there's a discussion of what will stand and house decides I have to call the 40$. Folds back to V1 who calls the 80... we tank and finally decide to call.
Flop 240 - 7♥ 4♥ 4♣
V1 checks, I check, V2 AI for 65, V1 folds but his hand bounces and is shown K♠ Q♠, Hero?

What is going on in the history hand.
Obviously call now. Is this a serious post?
You should 4bet jam pre. You’re committed against V2 anyway and not that deep against V1. Don’t let V1 in for cheap. His range is likely capped after he just calls pre but he still has tons of equity against JJ.
Given we know the floor here makes ridiculous rulings, the most EV+ flop line is to try to convince them that V1 is now required to call
I would have made a stink about this for sure. I am not folding but the floor should have allowed you to raise still that doesn't make sense that they would cap action.
It wasnt really clear if my hand was over the line, we have a line commits rule and I had a stack of reds and a quarter that was awkwardly fumbling in my hand but my intention to raise was clear.
V1 is very sticky and defends to 3-bets basically pure with AA and KK being 4-bets. Maybe AKs.
I like reading your posts Banana, you're one of the most frequent contributors (to a honestly, kind of dying forum), but Matzah's dead on here. God knows, I don't contribute 1/1000 of what you do.
You've an OP to this flop, and the time to fold Jacks was when the idiot decided to excitedly minclick their monster (we're agreed this isn't a front, right?) before you.
It still beats, "According to the solver..."

Spoiler
I make the obvious call vs the kid and get shown QQ. I river a J.
Not sure what’s funnier, the ruling from the floor or how you fired away your first bullet
Raise the $80 the first time. V1 just called; he shouldn't have AA/KK or even QQ, especially with you in there. Zero chance.
Call on flop is a no-brainer.
Not sure what’s funnier, the ruling from the floor or how you fired away your first bullet
My favorite part was how he couldn't wait to 3-bet JJ against someone who had been pretty passive preflop and very sticky post-flop.
A good hand history like this has something for everyone, including the element of future danger in playing in a cardroom where the floor can just randomly screw someone holding cards.
