KK in the CO Facing Raise on a Dry Run-Out
In Hands from the Archive, I repost hands on 2+2 from over ten years ago, editing them for concision and clarity (e.g. pot sizes) but staying faithful to the OP’s given reads. After five days, I’ll post results if available and give a link to the original post.

Snap call at this stack depth. Could maybe just get it in on the flop.
It's an SPR of 2, when two of you began the hand short-handed. Of course you're not folding.
I don't understand what made this hand interesting enough to repost after 10 years.
Why not shove the flop after the raise?

You’re arguably the most diligent pro posting on 2+2 right now, almost always right. Maybe you should just skip the hand if you find it dull. Of course, your insults to amateurs entertain. So keep up the good work. Thank you for fortifying my humility.
easiest flop shove in the world, i dislike AF's posting style but they're right in this case. were you entertaining folding an overpair for 40 big blinds? if so the game is too big for you.
Just shove the flop.
Grunch:
PRE - Seems okay. $30 might be a tad large for the open size over one limper, but might be fine, depending on the game. The thing is that we're starting out kind of shallow, so I might lean towards going smaller, say, $25, or maybe even just $20.
FLOP - That min-click check-raise is cute. What's he repping? 97? Sets? At our stack depth, I'm expecting V2 to put us all in on the turn. So we have to decide if we're just going with our hand now, I think, since we'll only have a 1/2 pot size bet left going to the turn. I think this is a jam or fold spot, and since we're probably not folding, it's just a jam.
TURN - We're either still ahead or still behind. Don't think I'd ever fold KK here, so just call it off and hope he doesn't have 2P+, though that seems like the most probably outcome.
ETA - Just re-read the OP, with the read that V2 bluffs infrequently. Maybe not, but if he EVER bluffs, he could have a lot of bluffs on this board, that limp in pre, assuming he's not limp-calling 99/77/44 or 97s. I wouldn't be shocked to see 65, 86, or T8 in this guy's UTG limp-calling range, when BB calls our open.
If he's limped in with 99/77/44 or 97, and drilled the flop, so be it. Nice hand, good game.
If he's got 22, we track him down and murder him where he sleeps, because he's obviously some sort of evil wizard, if he's check-raising the flop and turning a set.
