JJ multi way
2/5 NL live cash
Hero starts hand with about $425. The rest of the table has hero covered.
UTG+1 opens to $20 (He'd just sat down the orbit before. No real read on him)
UTG+2 Hero w/ Jc Jd
I considered a 3 bet. But ultimately I decided to just call.
folds to CO who 3 bets to $75 (liked to gamble a bit, but in 2 hours I hadn't seen him 3 bet).
SB cold calls the $75 (older Asian man who the table labled as "squeaky tight")
BB calls $75 (no real read)
UTG+1 calls $75
Hero?? There is about $325 in the pot and it costs me $55 to call. I can't see folding. But just calling almost feels like I'm resigned to set mining. JJ 5 ways sucks... I'd considered that the CO and SB could both have AK and maybe I should just stick it in. But, I just decided to call.
Flop:
Ac 9c 7c
We all check to the CO who bets $100. SB calls the $100. BB and UTG+1 folds.
Hero??
Part of me thinks I played this hand like the nitiest nit of all time and the other part thinks maybe not. Thoughts?

Ok so much dead money out there its the easiest preflop shove ever. Never ever flatting w/jj to play bingo
Ak or whatever you beat them, you only lose to qq+. And theres more than enough dead money to gamble.
Hell, I'd get it in with even 100$ dead money if I had a better read.
Flatting next to act from UTG+2 less than 100BB effective with 5 or 6 players still to act can't be good.
AP, I first agreed with dango's suggestion to shove, but between the UTG raiser, the CO 3-better, and the super nitty sb calling 3 bets cold, I'm likely either folding or calling, since we actually have the odds to set-mine and play fit-or-fold post-flop if we miss and people start shoveling money into the pot.

Agree with all this. 3-bet smallish is better when you still have many players to act behind. I’d consider flatting from button or BB.
This configuration screams strength from every position that raised and cold called. That being said, even squeaky tight SB and UTG+1 are “capped” because they are almost certainly 4-betting KK+ and AK. If CO is known to squeeze this is a shove. If he is passive, I think we have enough pot odds to set mine and I’m not too upset if I have to c/f flop.
Yeah, easy back shove preflop unless you think the 3-bettor has a tight range. I think the initial flat call was OK.
Easy fold on the flop.
