Are we deep enough to call here without the limper calling?

We are just barely deep enough. But given position and the fact that BB needs a strong hand to raise here, better implied odds for set mining.

We don't have enough information to decide. In pot odds, you're only getting 2:1. Most people assume IO is the available stack divided by the bet size. In reality, is more like how much will the villain put in with TP if you hit. If this villlain thinks TP is the nuts, it is worthwhile to call. If not, I'd let it go.

I would not call without a call ahead, or a solid read that BB is either A) never folding post, or B) highly bluffable post. Max IOs vs BB are about 11:1, which means he would have to pay off almost every time we hit a set to make it worthwhile to set-mine. That is pretty damned optimistic, and I usually want at least 15:1 readless.

Since the limper called, we now have 2 Vs who might pay us off if we hit, and limper is deeper, so it's a pretty easy call, IMO, though we do need to be a bit more concerned about RIOs if we hit. Limpers range probably has a lot of PPs bigger than ours that could end up in a set-over-set scenario.

Yeah so we would prefer more than 11:1 in this spot in general
