Pre-Flop Question

Bellagio 1/3 $475 Eff

The LJ, a good thinking player, opens to $12 and I am on the BTN with T8s with two fish in the SB and BB. With the initial raiser being a good player, should I Call, Raise or Fold? The things I have read from Little and Upswing say this is a fold but I think I am in a great position here with the two bad players in the blinds. Fire Away as I am just starting to get back into playing.

So you're just "starting to get back into playing, " and despite what you're learning you want to play garbage while facing a raise because you believe the blinds play even worse than you?

It's your money...for as long as it lasts.

Probably just flat and keep the fishes in.

LJ will probably play his hand face up when the fishes are in postflop. We have the best position with a speculative hand. Fishes might pay you off for stacks if you hit 2p+ hands.

3betting is ok but blows the fishes out of the pot, you'd be playing HU vs LJ. Usually we iso 3bet them because we have an edge on them. But you have more chances to take down the pot pre or postflop.

We are never folding to 12$ raise with 475$ behind with T8s on btn especially with fishes about to come along. If LJ were a 200$ stack we can fold.

If you have to ask, it's probably just a fold. When you get your sea legs back, you can start opening up a little.

It's a clear fold you aren't even that deep.
