Bluffing three streets against a short stack
5/5
~$400
BB - Loose passive rec player who loves seeing flops
MP limps, Hero K♥ Q♣ raises to $25, BB calls, MP folds
Flop($55) J♥ 8♥ 5♣
x, Hero bets $20, BB calls
Turn($95) 4♣
x, Hero bets $100, BB calls
River($295) J ♦
BB($250 left) checks, Hero bets $100
My goal on the river is to fold out all busted draws, including weak pair + flush draws and various Ax hands.

You’re not folding pairs with that bet, maybe ace high fds which is only a few combos.
You have a pretty bad bluff combo as well.
Its a punt
Dude, just abort mission when we don't pick up any equity on the turn.
On the river, what's to stop this guy from showing up with Jx, when he flats in the BB, and there are a gazillion missed draws available for bluffs?
If he's slightly sentient, he might call with any pair.
i feel like youre just blindly betting pot ott in these threads. You need to learn turn sizings. Id guess wed wanna go 70% pot here ott with our bluffs.
and here you are again contemplating a river bet when the river pairs the flop's top pair. By and large thats the worst possible cards in the deck to bluff on the river.
KQ has solid showdown value, im probably checking the flop, especially since its wet and people with static ranges will continue a lot.
OTT idk what youre really folding, maybe 8x that peeled, idk. If i had AJ here im betting 70% pot OTT and expecting to get called by almost their whole range.
I dont really know what the point here is except blind aggression. I feel like you might want to post your read on V's range on each street, it might help your thought process on "wtf of their range am i folding here?"
Don't mind the small c-bet here, but taking a free card is hardly terrible either.
As for the rest (the turn in particular), why on earth would we bluff, especially with very little equity, a loose passive? This feels like a fundamental low stakes rule we're breaking for no good reason. If you said you'd seen him repeatedly fold to agression on the turn or river ok, but your description is loose passive.
