KQ off strange line
9 handed Hero 890$ effective
about an hour and a half in haven't played many hands been card dead for a bit. Tighter image shown down twice strong range hands losing to one outer coolers but lighter losses. Hero looks down at KcQs in the BB. Most of the table around $1300-$700 eff main V older 50s a little splashy havent seen many show downs playing a little wider hands like K6suited.
UTG main V($3-400ish)(to note I did not notice his stack size until the river) min clicks for 10$ he said later he thought the straddle was on. UTG+1 calls, MP calls folds to Hero raise 35$, V UTG calls folds around.
pot 90$
8s 9s Qc
Hero c-bet 35$, V makes it 105$, hero calls
pot $300
turn 3s
Hero x, V checks.
river 5h
hero?
Did I make a mistake not betting turn and should I bluff river for say 2/3 like 200$?

Your sizing pre is WAY too small.
AP I would also size up my flop bet on this wet board against a V with a splashy wide range. SPR is 3-4 so Iβm ok considering this a stack off hand on favourable runouts against a bad V.
I think we have to call c/r and eval.
Turn check ok and happy to see a check back.
Not sure why you phrased your river question that way. We have too strong a hand to bluff. We have a hand that is either thin value betting or bluff catching. Doesnβt V only have like 200 behind? I donβt think we have great value targets (maybe just QJ/QT). V has a lot of strong hands that may have slowed down after the flush came in (88/99/89/JT) that will not likely fold to a bet but will prob value bet when facing 2 checks. He prob checks behind one pair hands we beat. So I think we need to check/fold.
Spoiler
hero went for $175 and V jams for his remaining which I called and V had a red J10
