Maybe this is just an easy fold but wanted to check, How should we be playing on the turn here?

What hands should we bet on the turn?

What hands should we be check calling with?

What do you think his range is here?

Sort of range for a decently tight player that still calls too much when they should 3bet or fold from HJ is something like this:

- Has AxQ ATss KTss that we beat.

- TT 22 for sets, QJss for nut straight, if he has QJo then he has more two pair combos that we beat.

- QJ and then some SCs for flushes. Though I guess the Royal Flush is unlikely to jam the turn.

Put it in the equity calculator and see what we get. I guess its pretty close.

EDIT

All of these hands except the royal reasonably spaz the turn as well.

Yeah I mean he is certainly not the player who plays 3B or fold Id more say he will call with some stronger Hand, But I would say SC and maybe sets some TP but not sure if he will shove turn here with them

PRE - raise bigger.

FLOP - either check, bet super small, like 1/5 pot, or go massive with an over-bet.

Betting 75% pot doesn't accomplish much in our favor. It just forces opponents to continue with stronger hands and draws to the nuts, but doesn't put any pressure on them to continue with worse or raise with better. You're making it easy for them to play perfectly.

TURN - we beat nothing, other than AT or KT that V has decided to turn into a bluff, which seems at least somewhat unlikely. We have 4 outs to boat up, and if V has a royal we still lose.

Honestly, when the Ad comes out, I'd be less concerned about flushes, and more worried about straights. As played to this point, check-fold is our best line, followed by jamming from up front, with check-calling being the worst.

As played pre and on flop, I think the only hands we could bet for value on the turn would be the nuts. If we jammed, we'd be turning our hand into a bluff, which seems insane, but I could see doing it if we think there's any possibility we might fold the best hand to a bet. But that would require V to be capable of turning a worse hand into a bluff, or insanely thinking he's betting worse for value. Like I said, that seems at least somewhat unlikely.

If we had AA/KK, I could see check-calling, in the hopes of boating up on the river, while praying V doesn't have a royal.
