Call or fold?
1/2. Full family limp to me. Hero is dealer with KK. 5 people in front. Hero raises it to 27. Bb calls. Ep1 calls. Everybody else folds. 3 to the flop. Ep has around 600+. I have the table covered by miles.
pot ~85
8/7/3 rainbow.
Bb checks. Ep1 bets 50. Hero calls. Bb folds. Heads up to the turn.
pot~185
Turn is a 2.
I think it put 2 clubs out there but it’s mostly irrelevant at this point. Ep 1 bets out 150. Hero tanks. Calls.
pot ~ 485
River is another 7. No flushes get there. Straights all miss.
Ep 1 snaps AI for his remaining 380.
Look him up with KK or fold?
EDIT: it is almost 6:30 pm here. I’ll post results at 7:00 est.

7pm tomorrow, I hope. Definitely not today.
Good idea
Any reads on EP1?
fold.
He’s not repping a whole lot of value, I’m calling.
We need reads on EP. In my games, there are players I would snap call and players I would sigh fold.
Great questions about reads. Iβm glad I got that question bc I consciously didnβt add that info.
EP1 and all the rest of the table are new players to me. This is only my Second time at this game. I will say though, none of them need this money weβre playing with and theyβre all rich as ****. I see EP one playing garbage hands and betting draws out of position. He very confidently told the table 35 suited was a really good hand after he pushed all in for 150 to take down a limped straddle pot one hand.
So yeah. Hope that helps lol
Call, you played your hand as a bluff catcher, now bluff catch.
I mean, the nice thing about the 7 is that it is essentially a blank. There is no 7 that you are suddenly losing to that you were beating OTT. There is so much "value" that you beat here, A8, QQ-99 that would play this same way, especially with no A or K OTB. When you add in busted str8 draws, maybe busted flush draws (you weren't too clear about suits), you have an easy call here.
Spoiler
Sorry that you lost
Yeah. It wasnβt easy looking back on it because $380 is a lot of money to lose in 10 seconds if im wrongβ¦. But to piggyback off of one of the commenters, I played it like a bluff catcher instead of forcing the guy all in on the turn. Someone else on Reddit was telling me to come over the top on the turn but, if heβs bluffing, I wanna give him an opportunity to try to buy the river too.
When he bet out on the river he did exactly what I wanted him to with the line that I took, so why wouldnβt I call? None of the straights got there and if he had 8/7 I was beat off the break anyway. He didnβt have aces or he probably 3 bets pf. There were so few hands that got there and Iβd seen him bluff in the past that mathematically it was the only decision to make.
He had 8/3 cc. Took down about a $1,200 pot give or take. One of the best calls Iβve ever made considering the size of the bet I had to call using the limited information Iβd been able to gather up to that point.
Nicely played! 83 was one of the hands I was thinking of as a possibility.
call unless some read, raise flop
