$2$5 NL KK UTG3

$2$5 NL KK UTG3

I have KK UTG+3 with $2K effective. UTG+2 raises to $20 and I make it $100. UTG+4 flat calls and UTG+2 calls.

UTG+2 range is medium PP or better with AK/AQ/AJ
UTG+4 is a whale and range is anything

I haven't played much with UTG+2 - so i don't know whether he would check raise his AK or just play safe and check call if he has AQ/AJ.

Flop is AJ5 no flush draws. check all around

Turn is x (no flush draws). UTG+2 checks.

Hero?

Pre seems fine. Flop seems fine.

I might just bet turn for around 30%-40% pot when flop checks through and UTG2 checks again. The reasoning being that we may have the best hand that can bet for value, but the small size is good to re-cap our opponents, who may raise with better hands.

But checking again is also fine, and maybe even preferable. Even if UTG4 is super passive, he's likely to start betting turn with Ax if we check again, and his bet size may tell us a lot about his hand strength. If he bets big and UTG2 calls or raises, that'll tell us even more.

If we miss a street of value with KK on an A-high board in a multi-way 3B pot, it's not a huge blunder. We got decent value pre, and can always put in a small bet on the river if the turn checks through and UTG2 checks again, making it fairly likely we have the best hand.

I like 👍🏼

The 3bet size is perhaps a bit too big in theory, but this deep I don't hate it. Then, you got two callers, so what do I know ...

Flop is standard.

I'd check again turn: assuming you are ahead, I don't think you have more than 1 street of value.
I'd bet most rivers if checked through, or call a bet.

If UTG+4 bets turn and UTG+2 calls, you may consider folding.

Check turn; you probably are not getting multiple streets of value--even from the whale--and your hand does not need protection enough to justify a bet.

I like preflop sizing and checking flop. Turn I probably check again. If player after bets I call and if UTG+2 calls first then would consider folding.
