I dont play many hands like this but every once in a while it’s fine. It just ends up being spewy at $1:$3. No reason to need to force your hands as much when all you have to do to win at those stakes is be patient and play solid, but Ill mix these plays in here and there and against a dealer probably better profile to do that against. You just sitting down also is helpful since you will get more credit for having a big hand especially your first hand. Like could he fold? Sure but the edge in poker comes from removing the guess work.

I don’t like continuing on 4 turn because he’s more likely than not going to continue with any hand he called you on the flop, but if you barrel turn I like the all in River bluff and you set yourself up for a hard call with sizing and the king was a good card to shove on. He could have KJ but I don’t hate how you played it but it is very guessy overall and I’ve learned to just remove those parts of my game unless im targeting a specific player and have good reads on them. For this to be a “good play” you’d need to have more info on the player

played fine vs dealer fit/fold type, turn check would be fine too

I see some problems here;

Board is pretty dry, i d’ like your line more on coordinated flops and i like having at least a piece of it

As played what is the range you are repping? (Especially on the river?)

He‘s a dealer there and saw you playing. He might knows your game.

You never played with him

Turn and River dont change the board much ; why should he fold river when he called the other streets? B/c he‘s afraid of K?

If i barrel here i bet flop & turn smaller and check this river bc AQ has SD value

C flop c turn (over) bet river would imo be a good line

Given he‘s UTG calling your 3b he has a stronger range in general.

Downcalling here with 99/ TT /JT+ is easy for players who can read the board ( ship the river polarizes your range big time (

Pre is fine

Flop HU IP
I check AQ back (showdownvalue , HU 3b pot, IP , etc.

I will check any turn as well (even Q&A)

And i will bet this river most of the time (bc this line makes sense for K J + combos)

One more thing ; ( i made this mistake
over years.)

Buiding a big pot vs. weak players w intention to take it away on later streets doesnt work very well..
