2 Pair in big pot on ugly turn
Game: 5/5 in local casino
Players at table :
mix of
1.young guns (who discuss strategy at the table, clearly suffering from Dunning-Kruger-effect )
2. Businessmen
3. Regs who i know over 10 years
4. me
The following hand will contain one of each group
Effective Stack: ~1k
We straddle, there is a raise 30 from EP(1)
Flop is 5way (Pot = 150.-) including
BTN (2)
SB (3)
I call the straddle with Ts6s
Flop: Ac T 6c (Pot 150.-)
Checked to EP (1) who makes it 75.-
2 & 3 both call. Others fold.
Ep 1 has most likely a strong made hand like TPGK
BTN (2) no idea
Chris (3) could have TPGK, gutshots, FD‘s etc.
I decide to cook it up to 400, hoping getting it in vs EP (1)
EP(1) calls 400
BTN folds
SB (3) calls 400
Pot 1.3k (we have ~500 behind)
Turn: Ac T 6c Qc
SB(3) checks
Hero(4) ???
(Note: i know SB (3) very well, with a flush / straight he would donk turn here pretty much every time.
He might think i‘m capable of c/r flop with a FD [thats not true]
SB (3) tends to overfold good hands on later streets when facing a big bet after a scare card hits: yesterday i found myself on the river between EP(1) and SB (3)
Facing a big potsize+ bet from EP(1) On a
K x Td xd Kd board me calling QT SB(3) folded a K there.. (T was enough vs. EP(1))

I assume there's a meta-game rationale for straddling here with this lineup. I wouldn't.
I'm folding preflop with this RIO hand even at these odds. But I'm glad OP didn't because this is very interesting.
I like the xr line with the EP preflop raiser Ax heavy. The 400 sizing is a little large though. We have to think about fold equity on the turn, which we're going to need quite often. And the Vs cannot continue with gutshots even against a smaller bet.
This is a bad turn card for us, as EP can have AQ and the SB can have the nutflush, a small flush and obviously KJ too. Pot is ~1350, H has 500 behind.
We have minimal/no FE. I can't think of anything we beat that will fold this turn getting ~7-2 to call our jam. We really compressed ranges with our xr 400. It wouldn't shock me if EP has AA.
xc and try to get to showdown, hope we bink river.
I would have folded the T6s from the straddle. At least, that is what I aspire to do.
It's a terrible turn card for your hand. I would give up but the pot is too big now.
I would check, and I think that you are beat now. If EP shoves and SB calls, folding can't be wrong.
But I'm guessing you won this hand, if you posted it.
I might messed its up
Pretty sure Flop was T63ss not A6T
Anyways in retro i was thinking i should have shipFLOP (on T63ss obv)
400 bet size was proposed that EP either ship or fold.
Fact that both called my 400 without hestitation shocked me i a case that i was zero aware of and Qc put the crown on top.
After some thinking..
Spoiler
. I just shipped it in, bc sb tends to overfold heavy (yes i needed a reson
