fold yesterday

Have to fold pre at this stack depth and OOP to two. This flop is the perfect example of why, as you hit one of the better flops and are still in a grim spot.

You do have the pot odds to call off post flop, provided no one has a better draw like T9s (which is unlikely). So it’s a good spot to gamble.

The original flat call on the flop is dubious. You aren’t closing the action and are unlikely to see the river if Villain has AX. There is some chance you can bluff river if CO folds and the turn checks through. I understand calling but it isn’t a great spot.

Yeah I didnÂ’t notice stack sizes until the flop. Which was bad on my part I thought he was deeper.

I was unsure what to do when he bet £25 as he will likely have a bit ace and won’t fold. So I’m down to call or fold.

As played I think it’s a shrug call. Nothing else to do once you’re there.
